The Special Issue aims to research the patterns in heritage and the underlying rules that define tangible heritage as a universal value in spatial coexistence, economics, urban life, and design via case studies and theoretical proposals that could be implemented in the future. The pattern language and the heritage phenomenon could act as a base of observation to deduct logic and create generative algorithms (generative design); to understand the importance of spatial connection with tangible heritage and urban forms (space syntax, urban morphology, and urban morphometrics) and its visibility; as well as archaeological, architectural, and urban heritage. Based on the UNESCO-ICOMOS doctrines and the examination of morphological regions, urban morphological research and its different layers (urban forms, structural components, built environment, urban tissue, and their interaction) act as a background and foundation for general urban heritage conservation and protection proposals, and also as the base of specific interventions in the built environment caused by natural disasters. 606 $aThe arts$2bicssc 606 $aArchitecture$2bicssc 610 $aurban morphology 610 $ahistorico-geographical 610 $atown plan 610 $apreservation 610 $adesign guidelines 610 $aconservation 610 $aheritage 610 $aurban form 610 $atown-plan 610 $astreets 610 $aplots 610 $ablock-plans of buildings 610 $aNew York 610 $aurban planning 610 $apattern language 610 $agenerative modelling 610 $aVienna 610 $aAustria-Hungary 610 $aBarnet 610 $asuburban centres 610 $aspatial morphology 610 $aheritage syntax urbanism 610 $acommunity heritage 610 $atangible heritage 610 $aintangible heritage 610 $aspace syntax 610 $acultural heritage 610 $aindustrial landscape planning 610 $aindustrial landscape 610 $apost-industrial landscape 610 $aindustrial tourism 610 $aindustrial heritage 610 $aspatial layout 610 $aspatial distribution 610 $aspatial structure 610 $amapping 610 $asurveying 610 $aindigenous place values 610 $acolonisation 610 $aMichel de Certeau 610 $alost landscapes 610 $adesign reparation 610 $aarchitecture 610 $ahealing architecture 610 $aergonomics 610 $acommunity building 610 $aecology 610 $aarchitecture for children 610 $alow-tech 610 $auniversal design 610 $avernacular architecture 610 $aregionalism 610 $avisibility analysis 610 $aisovist 610 $afield of view 610 $aurban heritage 610 $abuilt environment 610 $aIstanbul 610 $aarchitectural heritage 610 $aspatial distribution characteristics 610 $ainfluencing factors 610 $aUNESCO heritage 610 $aheritage protection 610 $aurban history 610 $aurban design of 19th century 610 $asystem of public squares and city parks 610 $aZagreb 610 $aCroatia 610 $aurban block 610 $aurban transformation 610 $aurban reconstruction 610 $ahistorical core 610 $asustainable urbanisation 610 $aliveable urbanism 610 $aevidence-based design 610 $aAsian cities 615 7$aThe arts 615 7$aArchitecture 700 $aLovra$b Éva$4edt$01339013 702 $aLovra$b Éva$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910674043503321 996 $aHeritage Patterns?Representative Models$93059513 997 $aUNINA
