Based on the file-to-factory concept, the method combines parametric design approaches and additive manufacturing. Parametric design and additive manufacturing are both growing trends that open up new possibilities. Parametric design approaches change how planners / designers perceive building details. Further, new engineering concepts are needed to cope with the increasing complexity of architectural geometries due to the rapid developments in areas such as façade systems, modeling software and digital manufacturing techniques. Summary and Outlook The Author Alamir Mohsen received his bachelor degree in Architecture in 2007. From 2007 to 2012, he worked as a technical architect and designer at various international companies in Cairo, Egypt, where he planned and designed several projects in the Middle East. From 2012 to 2014, he completed his master?s degree in Façade Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Detmold, Germany. From 2014 to 2018, he worked as a façade engineer at Bollinger und Grohman Ingenieure in Frankfurt, Germany. From 2014 to 2019, he was a research assistant and lecturer at the Technical University Darmstadt. In 2018, he found his startup Lithium Architects GmbH in Frankfurt, and since then has served as company?s CEO. 410 0$aMechanik, Werkstoffe und Konstruktion im Bauwesen,$x2512-3246 ;$v56 606 $aConstruction industry?Management 606 $aBuildings?Design and construction 606 $aBuilding information modeling 606 $aConstruction Management 606 $aBuilding Construction and Design 606 $aBuilding Information Modeling 615 0$aConstruction industry?Management. 615 0$aBuildings?Design and construction. 615 0$aBuilding information modeling. 615 14$aConstruction Management. 615 24$aBuilding Construction and Design. 615 24$aBuilding Information Modeling. 676 $a729.1 700 $aMohsen$b Alamir$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0997620 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910403766003321 996 $aDesign to Manufacture of Complex Building Envelopes$92287915 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02535nam 2200673z- 450 001 9910639978303321 005 20231214133330.0 010 $a9781928424178 010 $a1928424171 035 $a(CKB)4100000009513043 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/96052 035 $a(Perlego)3511875 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000009513043 100 $a20220518d2018 uy | 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aVulnerable responsibility $eSmall vices for caregivers 210 $aBloemfontein$cUJ Press$d2018 215 $a1 electronic resource (154 p.) 311 08$a9781928424161 311 08$a1928424163 330 $aThe authors have developed the ethical imagination inviting a sense of ?otherness? towards the vulnerable self, rebounding care for the other as a way to understand our everyday neurotic (normal) tendency of small vices as the propensity and possibility for responsibility towards the other. The authors, inviting the reader into troublesome feelings such as laziness and anger, bring a Levinasian horizon into focus, so that even in the midst of laziness, there remains the small goodness to set the self free to care for the other, meeting the demands, challenges, hesitation, shuddering, tension and shocks of such alterity, of living ?otherwise?. 606 $aMedical ethics & professional conduct$2bicssc 610 $acaregiver 610 $aphilosophy 610 $ascience 610 $acaretakers 610 $aphilosophers 610 $amorality 610 $avulnerable 610 $aneurotic 610 $asmall vices 610 $aresponsibility 610 $alaziness 610 $aanger 610 $aLevinasian 610 $agoodness 610 $ademands 610 $achallenges 610 $ahesitation 610 $ashuddering 610 $atension 610 $ashock 610 $avulnerability of the caregiver 610 $avices for the virtuous caring of the caregiver 610 $agroup discussions amongst caregivers 610 $asocial sciences 610 $ahealthcare 615 7$aMedical ethics & professional conduct 700 $aBurggraeve$b Roger$4auth$0754697 702 $aO.K Lategan$b Laetus$4auth 702 $aVanlaere$b Linus$4auth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910639978303321 996 $aVulnerable responsibility$93021576 997 $aUNINA
