This kind of research encompasses a number of approaches, such as design studies, action studies, Learning Studies, Lesson Studies, and combined research and development studies. There are important differences between these approaches, but they also share some features, which makes it possible to see them as examples of a particular tradition of knowledge building. Collaborative knowledge building constitutes close ties between developing practices of early childhood education and care, and generating empirically grounded theoretical knowledge. This book contributes to the methodology of practices-developing research by mapping this movement through exemplifying themes actualised in such studies, and through conceptualizing important and recurring gains and challenges. It also describes how the latter can be taken on. 410 0$aInternational Perspectives on Early Childhood Education and Development,$x2468-8754 ;$v38 606 $aEarly childhood education 606 $aEducation$xResearch 606 $aTeaching 606 $aEarly Childhood Education 606 $aEducational Research 606 $aPedagogy 606 $aEducació infantil$2thub 608 $aLlibres electrònics$2thub 615 0$aEarly childhood education. 615 0$aEducation$xResearch. 615 0$aTeaching. 615 14$aEarly Childhood Education. 615 24$aEducational Research. 615 24$aPedagogy. 615 7$aEducació infantil 676 $a372.21 700 $aWallerstedt$b Cecilia$4edt$01330903 702 $aWallerstedt$b Cecilia$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aBrooks$b Eva$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aEriksen Ødegaard$b Elin$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aPramling$b Niklas$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910632869603321 996 $aMethodology for Research with Early Childhood Education and Care Professionals$93040015 997 $aUNINA
