The research was of an applied type. The methods used were: the scientific method; as a general method and the experimental and computerized methods; as specific methods. The research design was quasi-experimental with two research groups. The techniques that were used were: observation, survey and signing for the collection of bibliography. In data processing and analysis techniques were used: descriptive and inferential statistics. The conclusion is: The multimedia educational resource El Costumbrismo Peruano significantly influences the development of skills in the area of ??Communication in students of the fourth grade of secondary school of the consortium of Catholic Schools of Huancayo.

La investigación fue de tipo aplicada. Los métodos utilizados fueron: el método científico; como método general y los métodos experimental y computarizado; como métodos específicos. El diseño de investigación fue el cuasi experimental con dos grupos de investigación. Las técnicas que se utilizaron fueron: la observación, encuesta y el fichaje para el acopio de bibliografía. En las técnicas de procesamiento y análisis de datos se utilizaron: la estadística descriptiva e inferencial. La conclusión es: El recurso educativo multimedia El Costumbrismo Peruano influye significativamente en el desarrollo de capacidades del área de Comunicación en alumnos del cuarto grado de secundaria del consorcio de Colegios Católicos de Huancayo.
