This project shows the historical, political, economic and sociological characteristics of the media systems of seventeen French-speaking countries of Africa. Marie-Soleil Frere was Professor at the Université libre de Bruxelles and Director of Research at the National Fund for Scientific Research, Brussels. She passed away on March 2021.
