The advantages both for citizens and the health domain are many and interconnected. During the pandemic, mobile technology was also useful for minimizing social distancing, epidemiological monitoring through contact tracing, psychological support, and maintaining social relationships. There is a particular need for scholars to focus both on the innovations in this field during the pandemic and on the problems hampering the use of mobile technology to facilitate the correct and effective introduction of this technology into routine clinical programs in stable health care models. All professionals working in this sector were encouraged to contribute with their experiences. This reprint contains contributions from various experts and different fields. Aspects relating to the success and failures of employment, the medical experience, and acceptance are addressed. Particular space was also given to the role of social media, the use of apps (also presenting critical issues), and innovative apps for contact tracing. The digital divide and the infodemic were also investigated along with their impacts on citizens during the pandemic, for example, in following government directives relating to prevention and vaccination. We dedicate the book to all those involved with different roles in digital health. 517 $aImpact of Mobile Technology in the Battle against COVID-19 606 $aMedical equipment and techniques$2bicssc 610 $aadult 610 $aAl Hassa 610 $aCOVID-19 610 $aCOVID-19 pandemic 610 $adesire to eat 610 $adigital content value chain 610 $adigital divide 610 $adigital health 610 $aeHealth 610 $aelectronic surveys 610 $afood choice 610 $afrail people 610 $ahealthcare professionals 610 $aheuristic evaluation 610 $ainfodemic 610 $ainfodemiology 610 $ainfoveillance 610 $aMawid app 610 $amedical devices 610 $amHealth 610 $amobile application 610 $amobile health app 610 $amobile technology 610 $an/a 610 $aneeds assessment 610 $aNLP 610 $aopioid use disorder treatment 610 $apandemic 610 $aphysical activity 610 $apositive emotions 610 $apost-lockdown 610 $aprimary healthcare centers 610 $apublic health 610 $aqualitative 610 $arare diseases 610 $aremote assistance 610 $aremote rehabilitation 610 $aSARS-CoV-2 610 $aSARS-CoV2 610 $aSaudi Arabia 610 $asedentary behavior 610 $asmartphone 610 $asocial media 610 $asurvey 610 $atechnology 610 $atelehealth 610 $atelehealth services 610 $atelemedicine 610 $atelemonitoring 610 $atelerehabilitation 610 $aTwitter 610 $ausability 610 $avaccines 615 7$aMedical equipment and techniques 700 $aGiansanti$b Daniele$4edt$01290298 702 $aGiansanti$b Daniele$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910585945203321 996 $aThe Impact of Mobile Technology in the Battle against COVID-19$93021465 997 $aUNINA
