Currently, the COVID-19 pandemic has focused the attention on the problem of the infectious risk, which is certainly among the risks typically expected and specifically recognized for the health personnel, but also other occupational risks should not be overlooked, such as, e.g., the risks associated with work-organization factors and with the exposure to chemical and physical agents. The health consequences associated with the exposure to all these factors have relevant impacts in terms of induced diseases, DALYs, sickness absence from work and costs for the health systems. According to these premises, this reprint has collected manuscripts addressing topics related to the prevention of the occupational risks in the healthcare sector, including original articles and reviews on the prevention of work-related illnesses and injuries of the health personnel, as well as on the evaluation of the risks in the healthcare workplaces, and on the topics of risk perception and of the knowledge and attitudes of the workers towards the preventive procedures and the use of protections. The themes of the prevention of occupational infectious risk, biomechanical overload of the musculoskeletal system and work-related psychosocial factors are specifically discussed in the papers collected. 606 $aHumanities$2bicssc 606 $aSocial interaction$2bicssc 610 $along-term care 610 $aturnover 610 $asemi-structured interview 610 $aKorean LTCI system 610 $aconfidence 610 $adisaster 610 $aemergency 610 $ahealthcare 610 $afamily member 610 $apreparedness 610 $arehabilitation 610 $avocational 610 $astroke 610 $aoccupational therapy 610 $awork 610 $aburnout 610 $anursing 610 $abibliometrics 610 $aco-authorship network 610 $ahealth-related quality of life 610 $ahealth measurement 610 $awork environment 610 $ahealthcare workers 610 $ahealth systems 610 $akey performance indicators 610 $ahealthcare system 610 $apandemic crisis 610 $aCOVID-19 610 $aAlgeria 610 $acompassionate care 610 $acompassion satisfaction 610 $acompassion fatigue 610 $across-cultural comparison 610 $aphysical fatigue 610 $amental fatigue 610 $afemale 610 $anurses 610 $ahealth personnel 610 $apandemics 610 $aemergency room 610 $aworkplace violence 610 $aresilience 610 $aintention to leave 610 $abreast cancer 610 $anight work 610 $ashift work 610 $aoccupational disease 610 $aworking conditions 610 $aprevention 610 $acarcinogens 610 $asafety climate 610 $asafety leadership 610 $aLMICs 610 $aNigeria 610 $aantimicrobial nanolayer 610 $abacterial contamination 610 $ahealthcare-associated infections 610 $ahigh-touch objects and surfaces 610 $adiscussing pressure 610 $aon-duty mechanism 610 $amotivation 610 $afriendly workplace environment 610 $ahigh-level medical personnel 610 $awork-related stress 610 $aworkplace health promotion 610 $awell-being 610 $asickness absence 610 $aquality of life 610 $adistress 610 $areturn on investment 610 $acardiovascular diseases 610 $amedical staff 610 $arisk factors 610 $aclustering 610 $aprevalence 610 $ahealthcare personnel 610 $amental health 610 $amind?body therapies 610 $awork stress 610 $aItalian professional stress scale 610 $amusculoskeletal complaints 610 $apain 610 $asurgeons 610 $aSARS-CoV-2 610 $ahealth surveillance 610 $arisk prevention 610 $aoccupational risk factors 610 $ainfectious risk 610 $acomplaining 610 $apsychiatric 610 $aloneliness 610 $aoccupational burnout 615 7$aHumanities 615 7$aSocial interaction 700 $aModenese$b Alberto$4edt$01324165 702 $aGobba$b Fabriziomaria$4edt 702 $aModenese$b Alberto$4oth 702 $aGobba$b Fabriziomaria$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910585941503321 996 $aOccupational Health and Safety in the Healthcare Sector$93035980 997 $aUNINA
