Our knowledge about this disorder has evolved significantly in recent years. Notably, correlations between clinical findings and pathology have improved, and main clinical, neuroimaging, and genetic features have been described. Furthermore, primary progressive aphasia is a good model for the study of brain?behavior relationships, and has contributed to the knowledge of the neural basis of language functioning. However, there are many open questions remaining. For instance, classification into three variants (non-fluent, semantic, and logopenic) is under debate; further data about epidemiology and natural history of the diseases are needed; and, as in other neurodegenerative disorders, successful therapies are lacking. The Guest Editors expect that this book can be very useful for scholars. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 606 $aBiology, life sciences$2bicssc 610 $aprimary progressive aphasia 610 $ainformativeness 610 $aspeech production 610 $aassessment 610 $adiagnosis 610 $acognitive approach 610 $adementia 610 $afrontotemporal dementia 610 $aAlzheimer's disease 610 $aneuropsychology 610 $aspan 610 $asentence repetition 610 $aworking memory 610 $aphonological 610 $avisuospatial 610 $anatural history 610 $amortality 610 $asurvival 610 $amemory clinic 610 $agraphical markers 610 $agraphical parameters 610 $awriting pressure 610 $adifferential diagnosis 610 $alongitudinal assessment 610 $acognitive changes 610 $abehavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia 610 $alevel of functioning 610 $aelectroencephalography 610 $aresting-state 610 $abiomarkers machine learning 610 $aK-Nearest Neighbors 610 $agraph theory 610 $atreatment 610 $aspeech and language therapy 610 $aintervention 610 $acognitive rehabilitation 610 $abilingualism 610 $asemantic dementia 610 $asemantic variant primary progressive aphasia 610 $aword finding 610 $alanguage therapy 610 $abehavioural therapy 610 $aelectroencephalography (EEG) 610 $anetwork analysis 610 $aprogressive apraxia of speech 615 7$aResearch & information: general 615 7$aBiology, life sciences 700 $aMatias-Guiu$b Jordi A$4edt$01313403 702 $aLaforce$b Robert Jr$4edt 702 $aUtianski$b Rene L$4edt 702 $aMatias-Guiu$b Jordi A$4oth 702 $aLaforce$b Robert Jr$4oth 702 $aUtianski$b Rene L$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910580214303321 996 $aAdvances in Primary Progressive Aphasia$93031387 997 $aUNINA
