In contemporary practice, novel techniques have been introduced in diagnostics and rehabilitative interventions (e.g., machine learning, electrical stimulation). Similarly, advancements in methodological approaches to validate measures have been introduced (e.g., item response theory using Rasch analysis), prompting the need to develop new, robust measures for use in clinics and intervention studies. Against this backdrop, this Special Issue focuses on studies aiming to improve early diagnostics of laryngological disorders and its management. This issue also welcomes the submission of studies on diagnostic accuracy and psychometrics performance of existing and newly developed measures. This includes but is not limited to studies investigating screening tools with sound diagnostic accuracy and robust psychometric properties. Furthermore, interventions with high levels of evidence in relation to clinical outcome using robust methodology (e.g., sophisticated meta-analytic approaches) are of great interest. This issue provides an overview of the latest advances in voice and swallowing disorders. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 606 $aChemistry$2bicssc 610 $aT1a glottic carcinoma 610 $atransoral laser microsurgery 610 $atreatment outcome 610 $avocal function 610 $aobjective voice diagnostics 610 $avocal extent measure (VEM) 610 $aoccupational voice disorders 610 $aprevention 610 $aprophylaxis 610 $ateachers 610 $aoccupational health 610 $avoice training 610 $abalneotherapy 610 $adysphagia 610 $aswallowing 610 $alaryngeal penetration or aspiration 610 $adeglutition 610 $areliability 610 $avideofluoroscopic swallowing study 610 $adeep learning 610 $amachine learning 610 $aVoice Handicap Index (VHI-9i) 610 $ainternational short scale 610 $aVHI-9i severity levels 610 $atest-retest reliability 610 $avalidation of classification ranges 610 $aself-assessed vocal impairment (VHIs) 610 $ahoarseness 610 $adysphonia severity categories 610 $avoice diagnostics 610 $adeglutition disorders 610 $atongue 610 $aexercise 610 $aageing 610 $aSob Voice Therapy 610 $aOptimal Phonation Task 610 $aNegative Practice 610 $aauditory-perceptual analysis 610 $aacoustic voice analysis 610 $alaryngeal sensory dysfunction 610 $achronic refractory cough 610 $abotulinum toxin 610 $alarynx 610 $alaryngeal hypersensitivity 610 $acough hypersensitivity syndrome 610 $aglobus pharyngeus 610 $alaryngopharyngeal reflux 610 $aneuropathic cough 610 $athroat irritation 610 $aauditory discrimination 610 $avoice control 610 $avoice assessment 610 $avoice disorders 610 $aswallowing disorders 610 $aRCT 610 $aintervention 610 $acompensation 610 $arehabilitation 610 $aclassic test theory 610 $ameasure 610 $apsychometrics 610 $avideofluoroscopic swallow studies 610 $aVMV 610 $aneuromuscular electrical stimulation 610 $apharyngeal electrical stimulation 610 $aPES 610 $aNMES 610 $arepetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation 610 $atranscranial direct current stimulation 610 $arTMS 610 $atDCS 615 7$aResearch & information: general 615 7$aChemistry 700 $aSpeyer$b Rene?e$4edt$01326271 702 $aSpeyer$b Rene?e$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910580207203321 996 $aAdvances in Management of Voice and Swallowing Disorders$93037239 997 $aUNINA
