Rather than in core syntax, it is at the interface level that the divergence between native and non-native grammars has been shown to be more prominent. In this book the investigation of answering strategies and the focalization of new information subjects, which require access to the syntax-discourse interface, will be pursued. Data is collected through an oral elicitation task on Finnish and Italian, a rather unexplored language pair, in various stages of language development: advanced and intermediate L2 acquisition, L1 under L2 attrition, early bilingualism, child monolingual L1 development. 517 $aNew information subjects in L2 acquisition 606 $alinguistics$2bicssc 606 $aHistorical & comparative linguistics$2bicssc 606 $aLiterature & literary studies$2bicssc 606 $aLiterature: history & criticism$2bicssc 615 7$alinguistics 615 7$aHistorical & comparative linguistics 615 7$aLiterature & literary studies 615 7$aLiterature: history & criticism 700 $aDal Pozzo$b Lena$4auth$0720376 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910572187403321 996 $aNew information subjects in L2 acquisition$92932640 997 $aUNINA
