A tailored approach was followed to graft individual molecules to the surface, to characterise the morphology of the functionalised surfaces with standard scanning probe microscopy and to investigate their magnetic properties using X-Ray circular dichroism. The aim of this project was to develop the initial basis for the organisation and addressing of magnetic molecules with a view to the development of single molecule devices for data storage and molecular-spintronic applications. 410 0$aPremio Tesi di dottorato. 606 $aMagnetic materials 615 0$aMagnetic materials. 676 $a621.34 700 $aMannini$b Matteo$01261602 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910571771503321 996 $aMolecular magnetic materials on solid surfaces$92938305 997 $aUNINA
