The premise for Døden i livet has been to challenge this preconception from a variety of perspectives and disciplines. The authors argue that death is present in our lives in many ways. We see it and experience it in our physical surroundings, for example in the various arrangements we make to remind ourselves of the dead. We hear or read about it in speeches, poems, music lyrics, psalms, obituaries, biographies, picture books, novels and newspapers. We talk about death in conversations with each other, in characterizing the dead and in clinical language about illness and death. We reveal our understanding of death through visual forms such as newspaper images, illustrations in books and in the imagery and metaphors we employ when we describe it. Døden i livet is a mult-disciplinary, scientific anthology consisting of 12 peer-reviewed chapters geared towards scholars and students interested in broader appreciation of how death is present in our culture. The chapters are written by researchers working in such diverse fields as health, pedagogics, idea history, religion, literature studies, linguistics and rhetoric." 606 $aHumanities$2bicssc 606 $aSocial & political philosophy$2bicssc 606 $aReligion & beliefs$2bicssc 615 7$aHumanities 615 7$aSocial & political philosophy 615 7$aReligion & beliefs 700 $aJohannessen$b Aud$4aut$0980026 702 $aAskeland$b Norunn$4aut 702 $aBrinch Jørgensen$b Iben$4aut 702 $aUlvestad$b Jorun$4aut 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910291729303321 996 $aDøden i livet$92235216 997 $aUNINA LEADER 00969nam0-2200277 --450 001 9910567496803321 005 20220527132108.0 010 $a88-88227-12-1 100 $a20220527d2001----kmuy0itay5050 ba 101 0 $aita$aeng 102 $aIT 105 $a 001yy 200 1 $aMontessori$ebibliografia internazionale = international bibliography, 1896-2000$fa cura di Clara Tornar 210 $aRoma$cOpera nazionale Montessori$d[2001] 215 $aXCVII, 1539 p.$d30 cm.$e1 CD-ROM 300 $aIn testa al front.: Istituto superiore di ricerca e formazione dell'Opera nazionale Montessori. 676 $a016.37092$v19 702 1$aTornar,$bClara 710 02$aOpera Nazionale Montessori$b: Istituto superiore di ricerca e formazione$4070$01227702 801 0$aIT$bUNINA$gREICAT$2UNIMARC 901 $aBK 912 $a9910567496803321 952 $a370.92 MON (BIBL)$b2022/659$fFLFBC 959 $aFLFBC 996 $aMontessori$92850525 997 $aUNINA
