This is corroborated by many international entities. The International Cooperative Alliance estimates that 12% of the world's population is linked to one of the 3 million cooperatives that exist worldwide. Therefore, cooperative societies are not a marginal phenomenon. In relation to the role played by agricultural cooperatives in the world, it should be said that the agricultural cooperative is an enterprise unconditionally and stably linked to the rural environment, to the farmer and the stockbreeder. For this reason, it plays a leading role in the local economy and in the fixation of the population to the territory, thus contributing to the balance and management of the territory, which makes them true agents of rural development. On the other hand, cooperative societies have been the guarantors of the structuring of agriculture in rural areas in many countries. These organizations constitute the main structured, organized, professionalized and stable network established throughout the territory, in contact with the rural environment, with the capacity to communicate with and influence farmers and stockbreeders. They directly or indirectly provide much of the employment in the rural world and cooperative societies by nature develop their activity under cooperative principles and values that make them exponents of socially responsible enterprises and, therefore, are the key to sustainable development, as promulgated by the United Nations through the SDGs. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 606 $aBiology, life sciences$2bicssc 606 $aTechnology, engineering, agriculture$2bicssc 610 $aagroindustrial 610 $aagricultural cooperative 610 $atechnology adoption 610 $atechnology and competitiveness 610 $ainformation and communication technology 610 $adigital transformation 610 $aagri-food cooperatives 610 $aco-operative creation policy 610 $acontingent valuation 610 $areasoned action approach 610 $aKazakhstan 610 $aCOVID-19 610 $aself-identity 610 $aagricultural non-economic function perception 610 $aagricultural economic function perception 610 $aland-responsibility behaviour intention 610 $aFacebook 610 $acooperatives 610 $abeekeeping 610 $afuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis 610 $aagricultural markets 610 $ageneralized propensity score 610 $acooperative organizations 610 $asmall-scale farm 610 $acooperation 610 $acontractual integration 610 $awillingness to cooperate 610 $afarm profile 610 $aLithuanian case 610 $aagricultural producer organizations 610 $arural women's circles 610 $alocal action groups 610 $amergers 610 $afailure 610 $aintegration 610 $aapproval 610 $anegotiations 610 $asocial and solidarity economy 610 $aevolutionary approach 610 $aterritorial-driven approach 610 $aagricultural cooperatives 610 $atechnical efficiency 610 $adairy processing sector 610 $asustainability 610 $amilk production capacity 610 $asupply chain 610 $adata envelopment analysis 615 7$aResearch & information: general 615 7$aBiology, life sciences 615 7$aTechnology, engineering, agriculture 700 $aMozas Moral$b Adoracio?n$4edt$01322434 702 $aFernandez Ucles$b Domingo$4edt 702 $aMozas Moral$b Adoracio?n$4oth 702 $aFernandez Ucles$b Domingo$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910566483003321 996 $aAgricultural Cooperative in the Face of the Challenges of Globalization, Sustainability and Digitalization$93034998 997 $aUNINA
