Iconographic aspects of each painting, using pictorial and literary sources as well as pointing out biographical connections and artistic forebears and influences, are being discussed. The complex interplay between art technology and conceptual statements manifests itself particularly articulate in the focal point of cartoon and fresco; accordingly, this study approaches Kupelwiesers work through the description of the materials he used and the way he processed them. 606 $aMural painting and decoration, Austrian$y19th century 606 $aPainting$2HILCC 606 $aVisual Arts$2HILCC 606 $aArt, Architecture & Applied Arts$2HILCC 615 0$aMural painting and decoration, Austrian 615 7$aPainting 615 7$aVisual Arts 615 7$aArt, Architecture & Applied Arts 676 $a759.02 700 $aEyb-Green$b Sigrid$01222613 702 $aKupelwieser$b Leopold 801 0$bPQKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910563172303321 996 $aDas zusammengedrängte Gedenken$92835794 997 $aUNINA
