The state of the space and the changes that have occurred within in it over extended time periods can be most easily found out using a variety of graphical materials. Among these, cartographic and photographic materials, in classical or electronic form, stand out and form an indispensable tool in teaching young people about space and its importance for the continuing development of society. We highlight in particular the use of different maps, aerial photos, three-dimensional and simulated models and photographs of an area from different time periods. We have presented a selection of cartographic and other graphical teaching tools at seminars for teachers, showing how they can be used to teach pupils about the significance and role of space for sustainable development. 606 $aCartography, map-making & projections$2bicssc 610 $aaerial photography 610 $acartographic materials 610 $acartography 610 $aeducational technology 610 $ageography 610 $amaps 610 $aspatial planning 610 $asustainable development 610 $ateaching 610 $aaerofotografija 610 $ageografija 610 $aizobra?evalna tehnologija 610 $akartografija 610 $akartografsko gradivo 610 $apouk 610 $aprostorsko planiranje 610 $atrajnostni razvoj 610 $azemljevidi 615 7$aCartography, map-making & projections 700 $aFridl$b Jerneja$4auth$01240770 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557887603321 996 $aGraphical Materials as Teaching Tools for the Conceptualization of Space$93013996 997 $aUNINA
