330   $aThis book aims to study the History of the University of Girona from 1561, when the first stone was laid, until 1717, the year in which it was transferred to Cervera. After a preliminary contextualization study, a factitious Chronicle is presented, which collects almost all the news of the University Life that were found in the Municipal Documents of the City of Girona, and that were not found in the book that J.B. Torroella dedicated to the University. The book concludes with two appendices: one studies the evolution of rent payments after the transfer of the University to Cervera and the other is a table of the University Professors.

Tras un estudio preliminar de contextualización, se da paso a una crónica facticia, que recoge casi todas las noticias de la vida universitaria que se encontraban en los Actes del ple y los Manuals d?acords de la Ciudad de Gerona, y que no se hallaban en el libro que J. B. Torroella dedicó a la Universidad. El libro concluye con sendos apéndices: uno estudia la evolución del pago de las rentas tras la transferencia de la Universidad a Cervera y el otro es una tabla de los profesores de la Universidad.
