Variations are relatively common throughout the body and may cause or contribute to significant medical conditions. An understanding of normal anatomical variation is vital for performing a broad range of surgical and other medical procedures and treatment modalities. However, despite their importance to effective diagnosis and treatment, such variations are often overlooked in medical school curricula and clinical practice. Recent advances in imaging techniques and a renewed interest in variation in dissection-based gross anatomy laboratories have facilitated the identification of many such variants. The aim of this Special Issue of Diagnostics is to highlight previously under-recognized anatomical variations and to discuss them in a clinical context. In particular, this Special Issue focuses on variants that have specific implications for diagnosis and treatment and explores their potential consequences. The scope of this Special Issue includes studies on gross anatomy, radiology, surgical anatomy, histology, and neuroanatomy. 606 $aMedicine and Nursing$2bicssc 610 $aaberrant obturator artery 610 $aaberrant subclavian artery 610 $aACDF 610 $aanatomic landmarks 610 $aanatomic variation 610 $aanatomical landmarks 610 $aanatomical variation 610 $aanatomical variations 610 $aanatomographical variation 610 $aanatomy 610 $aanatomy and histology 610 $aankle 610 $aarteria lusoria 610 $aartery tortuosity 610 $abulbs of the vestibule 610 $acancellous bone density 610 $aceliac artery 610 $aceliac artery compression syndrome 610 $acortical bone thickness 610 $adental cone-beam computed tomography 610 $adental implant site 610 $adiaphragm 610 $adysphagia lusoria 610 $aEthiopian population 610 $aexternal iliac branching variations 610 $afibula 610 $aFirst metatarsal head 610 $afoot 610 $aforearm 610 $agynecologic oncology 610 $ahereditary multiple exostoses 610 $ainferior thyroid artery 610 $ainternal iliac branching variations 610 $ajawbone 610 $akinked vertebral artery 610 $aKommerell's diverticulum 610 $alearning strategies 610 $aM sternalis 610 $amedian arcuate ligament syndrome 610 $amediolateral episiotomy 610 $ametatarsal bones 610 $amidline episiotomy 610 $anail deformity 610 $anail matrix 610 $anails 610 $aorder of innervation 610 $apelvic lymph nodes 610 $apelvic lymphadenectomy 610 $aperineal nerve 610 $apneumatization 610 $aposterior interosseous nerve 610 $aradial nerve 610 $aradiological health 610 $arecurrent laryngeal nerve 610 $aretroesophageal right subclavian artery 610 $aseptation 610 $aspecial issues 610 $asphenoid sinus 610 $asuperficial branch of radial nerve 610 $asuperior mesenteric artery 610 $atendons 610 $athyroidectomy 610 $atibia 610 $atoe joint 610 $atoe phalanges 610 $avalgus 610 $avariation 615 7$aMedicine and Nursing 700 $aSmith$b Heather F$4edt$01324218 702 $aSmith$b Heather F$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557789203321 996 $aAnatomical Variation and Clinical Diagnosis$93036061 997 $aUNINA
