A large campaign of excavations has saved the gaulish tumulus of Courtesoult (Haute-Saône) from destruction. These researches have put into evidence two main phases of construction and use of the monument which includes 45 tombs. These have been the subject of detailed anthropological and palaeodentographical studies. The typological analysis of the small finds, mainly composed of dress items (brooches, bracelets, belt hooks, coral beads), gives a date ranging from the Hallstatt D1 to the La Tène A period. The data From Courtesoult can be put up against that of other burial sites, such as Gy, Mantoche or Savoyeux. It gives further details concerning the evolution of funeral practices from the first Iron Age in the region between the Jura and Burgundy. This area had hitherto given rise to no recent research far this period. 606 $aArchaeology 606 $aanthropologie 606 $aparure 606 $ainhumation 606 $avallée de la Saône 606 $asépulture 606 $aincinération 606 $aHallstatt 606 $aLa Tène 606 $areste humain 606 $achronologie de l?âge du Fer 606 $apaléodémographie 610 $aanthropologie 610 $aparure 610 $ainhumation 610 $avallée de la Saône 610 $asépulture 610 $aincinération 610 $aHallstatt 610 $aLa Tène 610 $areste humain 610 $achronologie de l?âge du Fer 610 $apaléodémographie 615 4$aArchaeology 615 4$aanthropologie 615 4$aparure 615 4$ainhumation 615 4$avallée de la Saône 615 4$asépulture 615 4$aincinération 615 4$aHallstatt 615 4$aLa Tène 615 4$areste humain 615 4$achronologie de l?âge du Fer 615 4$apaléodémographie 700 $aBichet$b Vincent$01307194 701 $aChaix$b Louis$069845 701 $aCourtaud$b Patrice$01326625 701 $aDuday$b Henri$0174024 701 $aÉluère$b Christiane$0592991 701 $aGanard$b Véronique$01327362 701 $aMillotte$b Jacques?Pierre$01349761 701 $aPiningre$b Jean?François$01349762 701 $aPuybaret$b Marie?Pierre$01349763 701 $aRichard$b Hervé$01307203 701 $aSellier$b Pascal$01305763 701 $aStaniaszek$b Luc$01349764 701 $aPiningre$b Jean-François$01286459 801 0$bFR-FrMaCLE 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910629396703321 996 $aNécropoles et société au premier âge du Fer$93087578 997 $aUNINA LEADER 05832nam 2201357z- 450 001 9910557769903321 005 20220111 035 $a(CKB)5400000000045662 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/76334 035 $a(oapen)doab76334 035 $a(EXLCZ)995400000000045662 100 $a20202201d2021 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aProduction of Biofuels and Numerical Modeling of Chemical Combustion Systems 210 $aBasel, Switzerland$cMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute$d2021 215 $a1 online resource (298 p.) 311 08$a3-0365-1332-9 311 08$a3-0365-1331-0 330 $aBiofuels have recently attracted a lot of attention, mainly as alternative fuels for applications in energy generation and transportation. The utilization of biofuels in such controlled combustion processes has the great advantage of not depleting the limited resources of fossil fuels while leading to emissions of greenhouse gases and smoke particles similar to those of fossil fuels. On the other hand, a vast amount of biofuels are subjected to combustion in small-scale processes, such as for heating and cooking in residential dwellings, as well as in agricultural operations, such as crop residue removal and land clearing. In addition, large amounts of biomass are consumed annually during forest and savanna fires in many parts of the world. These types of burning processes are typically uncontrolled and unregulated. Consequently, the emissions from these processes may be larger compared to industrial-type operations. Aside from direct effects on human health, especially due to a sizeable fraction of the smoke emissions remaining inside residential homes, the smoke particles and gases released from uncontrolled biofuel combustion impose significant effects on the regional and global climate. Estimates have shown the majority of carbonaceous airborne particulate matter to be derived from the combustion of biofuels and biomass. "Production of Biofuels and Numerical Modelling of Chemical Combustion Systems" comprehensively overviews and includes in-depth technical research papers addressing recent progress in biofuel production and combustion processes. To be specific, this book contains sixteen high-quality studies (fifteen research papers and one review paper) addressing techniques and methods for bioenergy and biofuel production as well as challenges in the broad area of process modelling and control in combustion processes. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 606 $aTechnology: general issues$2bicssc 610 $aadded water content 610 $aadditive 610 $aalternative fuel 610 $abiocrude 610 $abiodiesel 610 $abioethanol 610 $abiofuel 610 $abiogas 610 $abiomass 610 $abiomorphic silicon carbide 610 $aburning characteristics 610 $acarotenoids 610 $acellulose 610 $acircular economy 610 $acombustion 610 $acompression ignition 610 $aComputational Fluid Dynamics 610 $acryogenic gas 610 $aculture 610 $adiesel engines 610 $adiesel particulate filter 610 $adilute acid pretreatment 610 $adirect injection 610 $adistillation temperature 610 $adual fuel engines 610 $adual-fuel engine 610 $aemulsified biofuel 610 $aenvironmental impact 610 $aenzymatic hydrolysis 610 $aesterification 610 $aeucalyptus kraft lignin 610 $aextremophiles 610 $afatty acid methyl ester 610 $afree fatty acids 610 $afuel structure 610 $agasification 610 $aglycerol 610 $agreenhouse gas emissions 610 $ahemicellulose 610 $ahydrogen production 610 $ahydrotalcite 610 $ahydrothermal liquefaction 610 $ainternal combustion engine 610 $alayered double hydroxide 610 $alife cycle assessment 610 $alignin 610 $alow O and N biocrude 610 $ametal-oxide catalyst 610 $amicroalgae 610 $amicroalgal biotechnology 610 $an/a 610 $anatural gas 610 $aNi-based catalyst 610 $aolive 610 $aolive oils 610 $aolive pomace 610 $aolive pomaces 610 $aolive stones 610 $aolive-pruning debris 610 $aPachysolen tannophilus 610 $aparticulate matter 610 $aparticulate matter emissions 610 $apellet 610 $aPhaeodactylum tricornutum 610 $apiston bowl 610 $apre-combustion chamber 610 $apretreatment 610 $apseudocomponent kinetic model 610 $apyrolysis 610 $aresponse surface methodology 610 $ascale-up 610 $asimulation 610 $asustainability 610 $atar 610 $aTGA 610 $atoluene steam reforming 610 $atree leaf 610 $atwo-stroke 610 $avanes 610 $avegetal waste 610 $awaste cooking oil 615 7$aResearch & information: general 615 7$aTechnology: general issues 700 $aTorres Garci?a$b Miguel$4edt$01324159 702 $aGarci?a Marti?n$b Juan Francisco$4edt 702 $aTorres Garci?a$b Miguel$4oth 702 $aGarci?a Marti?n$b Juan Francisco$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557769903321 996 $aProduction of Biofuels and Numerical Modeling of Chemical Combustion Systems$93035968 997 $aUNINA
