In most cases, the exact solution to such problems cannot be determined; therefore, one has to use grid methods to calculate an approximate solution using high-performance computing systems. These methods include the finite element method, the finite difference method, the finite volume method and combined methods. In this Special Issue, we bring to your attention works on theoretical studies of grid methods for approximation, stability and convergence, as well as the results of numerical experiments confirming the effectiveness of the developed methods. Of particular interest are new methods for solving boundary value problems with singularities, the complex geometry of the domain boundary and nonlinear equations. A part of the articles is devoted to the analysis of numerical methods developed for calculating mathematical models in various fields of applied science and engineering applications. As a rule, the ideas of symmetry are present in the design schemes and make the process harmonious and efficient. 517 $aMesh Methods 606 $aInformation technology industries$2bicssc 610 $ahigh-order methods 610 $aBrinkman penalization 610 $adiscontinuous Galerkin methods 610 $aembedded geometry 610 $ahigh-order boundary 610 $aIMEX Runge?Kutta methods 610 $aboundary value problems with degeneration of the solution on entire boundary of the domain 610 $athe method of finite elements 610 $aspecial graded mesh 610 $amultigrid methods 610 $aHermitian/skew-Hermitian splitting method 610 $askew-Hermitian triangular splitting method 610 $astrongly non-Hermitian matrix 610 $alie symmetries 610 $ainvariantized difference scheme 610 $anumerical solutions 610 $afinite integration method 610 $ashifted Chebyshev polynomial 610 $adirect and inverse problems 610 $aVolterra integro-differential equation 610 $aTikhonov regularization method 610 $aquartic spline 610 $atriangulation 610 $ascattered data 610 $acontinuity 610 $asurface reconstruction 610 $apositivity-preserving 610 $ainterpolation 610 $ajaw crusher 610 $asymmetrical laser cladding path 610 $aFEPG 610 $awear 615 7$aInformation technology industries 700 $aRukavishnikov$b Viktor A$4edt$01315832 702 $aLima$b Pedro M$4edt 702 $aBadriev$b Ildar B$4edt 702 $aRukavishnikov$b Viktor A$4oth 702 $aLima$b Pedro M$4oth 702 $aBadriev$b Ildar B$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557641103321 996 $aMesh Methods$93032533 997 $aUNINA
