Over the last quarter of a century, an increasing number of plant viruses have emerged in various parts of the world, especially in the tropics and subtropics. As is generally observed for plant viruses, most of the emerging viruses are transmitted horizontally by biological vectors, mainly insects. Reverse genetics using infectious clones?available for many plant viruses?has been used for identification of viral determinants involved in virus?host and virus?vector interactions. Although many studies have identified a number of factors involved in disease development and transmission, the precise mechanisms are unknown for most of the virus?plant?vector combinations. In most cases, the diverse outcomes resulting from virus?virus interactions are poorly understood. Although significant advances have been made towards understand the mechanisms involved in plant resistance to viruses, we are far from being able to apply this knowledge to protect cultivated plants from the all viral threats.The aim of this Special Issue was to provide a platform for researchers interested in plant virology to share their recent results. To achieve this, we invited the plant virology community to submit research articles, short communications and reviews related to the various aspects of plant virology: ecology, virus?plant host interactions, virus?vector interactions, virus?virus interactions, and control strategies. This issue contains some of the best current research in plant virology. 517 $aPlant Viruses 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 606 $aBiology, life sciences$2bicssc 610 $awhitefly 610 $abegomovirus 610 $aVta1 610 $avirus transmission 610 $acoat proteins 610 $amembrane association 610 $atopology 610 $acilevirus 610 $amovement protein 610 $ap29 capsid protein 610 $abarley yellow dwarf virus 610 $aBYDV 610 $awheat 610 $abarley 610 $ayield loss 610 $avectors 610 $aaphids 610 $apersistent virus 610 $aAmalgaviridae 610 $asynergism 610 $aantagonism 610 $avsiRNAs 610 $amiRNAs 610 $amixed-infections 610 $aArabidopsis thaliana 610 $aCucumber mosaic virus 610 $agenome-wide association studies 610 $aplant-virus interaction 610 $aseed transmission 610 $avirulence 610 $acallose 610 $acoat protein 610 $aplasmodesmata 610 $atriple gene block 610 $aviral suppressor 610 $avirus movement 610 $avirus replication complex 610 $aTYLCD 610 $aTYLCV 610 $atomato 610 $aSolanum lycopersicum 610 $adisease resistance 610 $aplant breeding 610 $aPAMP-triggered immunity 610 $aeffector-triggered immunity 610 $aRNA silencing 610 $aviral suppressors 610 $aNIK1 610 $aPTI 610 $aETI 610 $ageminiviruses 610 $ahost jumping 610 $aviral evolution 610 $atrade-off 610 $aplant virus 610 $aRNA virus 610 $apotyvirus 610 $aPlum pox virus 610 $aVPg 610 $aeIF4E 610 $ahigh-throughput sequencing 610 $abioinformatics 610 $adetection 610 $adiscovery 610 $aMinION 610 $ananopore sequencing 610 $arolling circle amplification 610 $aviral metagenomics 610 $aCRESS DNA 610 $acapulavirus 610 $ahomopolymer 610 $aBegomovirus 610 $acucumber 610 $amechanical inoculation 610 $areal-time PCR 610 $aviral load 610 $aQTLs 610 $aresistance 610 $aGeminiviridae 610 $asweepoviruses 610 $aDNA satellites 610 $aDeltasatellite 610 $ahelper virus range 610 $atransreplication 610 $ahigh-throughput sequencing (HTS) 610 $avirus 610 $adsRNA 610 $atotal RNA 610 $aOLV1 610 $aLRNV 610 $aToFBV 610 $aASGV 610 $ahost adaptation 610 $avirus evolution 615 7$aResearch & information: general 615 7$aBiology, life sciences 700 $aCastillo$b Jesu?s Navas$4edt$01303455 702 $aFiallo-Olive?$b Elvira$4edt 702 $aCastillo$b Jesu?s Navas$4oth 702 $aFiallo-Olive?$b Elvira$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557421803321 996 $aPlant Viruses: From Ecology to Control$93027066 997 $aUNINA
