Since that time, the ambient air quality in the CR has improved substantially, due to newly introduced stringent legislation and technical countermeasures. Nevertheless, there are still activities which represent significant emission sources, such as local heating and increased vehicle travel through communities. After a substantial decrease in emissions in both the CR and its neighbouring countries, the levels of some ambient air pollutants from the 2000s are still not satisfactory. In this respect, aerosol, ground-level ozone, and benzo[a]pyrene remain major problems, as they do elsewhere in Europe. The book provides a valuable update both on time trends and spatial changes in ambient air quality, and highlights the recent activities in both monitoring and modelling of principle ambient air pollutants in the CR. 606 $aResearch 606 $aEnvironmental economics 606 $aPollution prevention 610 $aair pollution 610 $aair quality 610 $a1950-2018 610 $aCzechoslovakia 610 $aemissions 610 $aaerosol 610 $aground-level ozone 610 $aatmospheric deposition 610 $ahealth outcomes 610 $aenvironmental issues 610 $aparticles 610 $atraffic 610 $adispersion 610 $aPM10 610 $apollution 610 $aF-gases 610 $agreenhouse gases 610 $aglobal warming potential 610 $asubstitutes for ozone depleting substances 610 $aCzech Republic 610 $amicrosensors 610 $aparticle counter 610 $agas analyzers 610 $arelative humidity 610 $amixing layer height 610 $aceilometer 610 $asuspended particulate matter 610 $aCzech-Polish border 610 $aurban parks 610 $aparticulate matter 610 $anitrogen oxides 610 $aozone 610 $aPM pollution 610 $aseasonality 610 $ameteorological conditions 610 $asource apportionment 610 $aPMF (Positive Matrix Factorization) 610 $aPM2.5 610 $along-term trends 610 $abackground scale 610 $alocomotives 610 $anon-road engines 610 $arail 610 $adiesel-electric 610 $areal-world emissions 610 $aportable on-board emissions monitoring systems 610 $aNOx 610 $areal driving emissions 610 $aurban canopy 610 $aweather prediction 610 $avalidation 610 $aPM1 aerosol 610 $aelements 610 $awater-soluble ions 610 $afactor analysis 610 $abenzo(a)pyrene 610 $aambient air concentrations 610 $aspatial-temporal 610 $apopulation exposure 610 $atransboundary transport 610 $ameteorological factors 610 $amonitoring stations 610 $aPassing-Bablok test 610 $aregression analysis 610 $astatistical modeling 610 $aanalysis of variance 610 $atower 610 $ahigh-volume sampler 610 $awind-direction-dependent sampling 610 $aneutron activation analysis 610 $aelemental composition 610 $across-border pollution transport 610 $aAIR BORDER 610 $aCzech-Polish borderlands 610 $aInterreg 610 $aNO2 610 $apassive sampler 610 $aDieselgate 610 $aPrague 610 $atraffic volume 610 $acitizen science 610 $apublic policy 610 $ahealth effects 615 0$aResearch. 615 0$aEnvironmental economics. 615 0$aPollution prevention. 702 $aHu?nova?$b Iva$f1958- 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557307403321 996 $aAmbient Air Quality in the Czech Republic$93026947 997 $aUNINA
