In the last decade, a considerable number of studies have been published on the use of water isotopes, and their number is ever-growing. The main reason is the development of new measurement techniques (i.e., laser absorption spectroscopy) that allow measurements of stable isotope ratios at ever-higher resolutions. Therefore, this compilation of papers has been published to address the current state-of-the-art water isotope methods, applications, and interpretations of hydrological processes, and to contribute to the rapidly growing repository of isotope data, which is important for future water resource management. We are pleased to present here a book with new findings in thirteen original research papers and one review paper issued in the Water MDPI Special Issue (SI) "Use of Water Isotopes in Hydrological Processes". The authors report the use of water isotopes in hydrological processes worldwide, including studies at both local and regional scales related to either precipitation dynamics or to different applications of water isotopes in combination with other hydrochemical parameters in investigations of surface water, snowmelt, soil water, groundwater and xylem water to identify the hydrological and geochemical processes. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 610 $a2H/1H and 18O/16O 610 $a3H- and 14C-dating 610 $aalluvial aquifer 610 $aalluvial fan 610 $aaltitude effect 610 $aamount-weighted mean 610 $aatmospheric sulfate 610 $abacterial sulfate reduction 610 $aChandra Basin 610 $aChina 610 $aconfidence 610 $acontinental effect 610 $aCroatia 610 $ad-excess 610 $adeuterium and oxygen-18 610 $adeuterium excess 610 $aelevation effect 610 $afine root system 610 $agroundwater 610 $agroundwater recharge 610 $aHungary 610 $ahydrogen 610 $ahydrogeological conceptual model 610 $ahydrograph separation 610 $aHYSPLIT model 610 $ainverse modeling 610 $aisotope hydrology 610 $aisotopic composition of water 610 $aisotopic techniques 610 $akarstic springs 610 $alinear regression 610 $alocal meteoric water line 610 $amajor ions 610 $ameasurement traceability 610 $amineralization of organic matter 610 $amoisture source 610 $aMWL validation 610 $aNaqu River basin 610 $anetworks and data bases 610 $aoxygen 610 $aoxygen isotopes 610 $apaddy rice field 610 $apeatland 610 $aprecipitation 610 $aprecipitation (rain and snow) 610 $aprecipitation amount effect 610 $aprediction and generalized intervals 610 $aQinghai-Tibet Plateau 610 $aradon 610 $aRed River's delta 610 $aregionalization 610 $asaltwater intrusion 610 $aself-organizing map 610 $asensitivity analysis 610 $aSlovenia 610 $asoil hydraulic parameters estimation 610 $asoil water 610 $aspatial variations 610 $aspecific ablation 610 $astable isotope ratios 610 $astable isotopes 610 $astable isotopes D and 18O 610 $astable nitrate isotopes 610 $astable water isotope 610 $astable water isotopes 610 $astatistical evaluation 610 $asulfide oxidation 610 $asulfur isotopes 610 $asurface water 610 $aSutri Dhaka 610 $atemperature effect 610 $atritium 610 $aunconfined aquifer 610 $avadose zone 610 $aVaraz?din area 610 $aVietnam 610 $awater cycle 610 $awater isotopic signature 610 $awater management 610 $aWestern Himalaya 610 $aZagreb 610 $a?18O-temperature relation 610 $a?2H 615 7$aResearch & information: general 700 $aVre?a$b Polona$4edt$01296150 702 $aKern$b Zoltán$4edt 702 $aVre?a$b Polona$4oth 702 $aKern$b Zoltán$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557290503321 996 $aUse of Water Stable Isotopes in Hydrological Process$93023811 997 $aUNINA
