As a consequence, strict adherence to the GFD is highly successful and useful to achieve optimal control of symptoms in celiac patients, although, sometimes, nutritional problems can persist despite a strict exclusion of gluten. However, following a strict GFD is not easy and an updated quality assessment of available products is needed for further improvement in gluten-free product development. Similar to CD, GFD is the common dietary approach in non-celiac gluten/wheat sensitivity (NCGWS). NCGWS is another common gluten-related disorder without the diagnostic features of CD. Increasing interest in the association and interaction between irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), functional dyspepsia, and gluten-related disorders can expand our knowledge and understanding of the management of these disorders. In this respect, GFD is considered a therapeutic option in IBS and functional digestive disorders. New insights into the GFD are an exciting scientific challenge for researchers. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 606 $aBiology, life sciences$2bicssc 606 $aFood & society$2bicssc 610 $airritable bowel syndrome 610 $aceliac disease 610 $anonceliac gluten/wheat sensitivity 610 $agluten-free diet 610 $aAIDAI score 610 $aamylase trypsin inhibitor 610 $anon-celiac wheat sensitivity 610 $aCD14 lymphocytes 610 $ainterleukin-1beta 610 $atumor necrosis factor-? 610 $anon coeliac wheat sensitivity 610 $agluten 610 $aFODMAPs 610 $afunctional dyspepsia 610 $aCeliac disease 610 $airon deficiency without anemia 610 $adietary iron 610 $airon supplementation 610 $awomen 610 $arefractory celiac disease 610 $aremission 610 $anickel allergy 610 $aallergic contact mucositis 610 $airritable bowel syndrome (IBS) 610 $alow-nickel diet 610 $agluten-free products 610 $agluten containing products 610 $afood composition database 610 $adietary reference intake 610 $aprison diets 610 $airritable bowel disease 610 $aFODMAP 610 $alow FODMAP diet 610 $agluten free diet 610 $anon-celiac gluten wheat sensitivity 615 7$aResearch & information: general 615 7$aBiology, life sciences 615 7$aFood & society 700 $aPaolo$b Usai-Satta$4edt$01309652 702 $aPaolo$b Usai-Satta$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557154303321 996 $aAdvance in Gluten-Free Diet$93029514 997 $aUNINA
