The crops included in this book are amaranth (Amaranthus spp.), quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa), kan?iwa (Chenopodium pallidicaule), chia (Salvia hispanica L.), Andean maize (Zea mays L.), moringa (Moringa oleifera), yvapuru (Plinia peruviana), kurugua (Sicana odorifera), sacha inchi (Plukenetia huayllabambana), camu camu (Myrciaria dubia), mango (Mangifera indica), tarwi (Lupinus mutabilis), peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) and taro (Colocasia esculenta), all of them still underutilized. Their cultivation is low; nevertheless, in recent years, the worldwide demand for some of them has increased immensely, resulting in an increase in their production. The ancient Iberoamerican crops have been widely recognized for their nutritional value by food scientists and food producers because they contain high-quality proteins and large quantities of micronutrients such as minerals, vitamins and bioactive compounds. In addition, they are gluten-free, which makes them suitable for people suffering from various gluten intolerances. This book summarizes the large amount of investigations in this field in the last year and provides knowledge within all the relevant areas of food science. The editors hope that this book will contribute to an increased use of these products in human nutrition by consumers worldwide. 517 $aAlcohol Hangover 606 $aBiology, life sciences$2bicssc 606 $aFood & society$2bicssc 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 610 $a8-isoprostane 610 $aacetaldehyde 610 $aacetate 610 $aacute hangover scale 610 $aalcohol 610 $aalcohol hangover scale (AHS) 610 $aalcohol use disorders identification test (AUDIT) 610 $aassessment at home 610 $aattention 610 $aautomatism 610 $aawareness of impairment 610 $aBAC 610 $ablinding 610 $ablood alcohol concentration 610 $abootstrapping 610 $aC-reactive protein 610 $acatastrophising 610 $acauses 610 $acognition 610 $acognitive control 610 $acognitive effort 610 $aconsequences 610 $acytokines 610 $adaytime activity 610 $adecision making 610 $adefinition 610 $adependence symptoms of AUDIT (DS-AUDIT) 610 $adistraction 610 $adistractor-response binding 610 $adriving 610 $aethanol 610 $aexecutive function 610 $aexecutive functions 610 $afexofenadine 610 $afrequency 610 $ahangover 610 $ahangover resistance 610 $ahangover treatment 610 $aheavy drinking 610 $ahiking 610 $ainflammation 610 $ainternet 610 $aliver function 610 $amalondialdehyde 610 $ameasurement 610 $amobile technology 610 $amobile testing 610 $amodel-based 610 $amodel-free 610 $amood 610 $anaproxen 610 $anaturalistic study 610 $aneuroticism 610 $anicotinic acid 610 $anutrients 610 $aoxidative stress 610 $aperformance 610 $aphysical performance 610 $apresence 610 $aprevention 610 $arandomized controlled trial 610 $aresidual alcohol 610 $aresponse inhibition 610 $aresponse selection 610 $aSamaria Gorge 610 $ascale 610 $asensitivity 610 $aseverity 610 $asex differences 610 $aSimon Nogo task 610 $asingle item assessment 610 $aSJP-001 610 $asleep 610 $astimulus-response binding 610 $astress 610 $astudy design 610 $asubjective intoxication 610 $asymptoms 610 $atheory of event coding 610 $atolerance 610 $atreatment 610 $atreatments 610 $aveisalgia 610 $awalking 610 $awater consumption 610 $aworking memory 610 $azinc 615 7$aBiology, life sciences 615 7$aFood & society 615 7$aResearch & information: general 700 $aVerster$b Joris$4edt$01309651 702 $aArnoldy$b Lizanne$4edt 702 $aBenson$b Sarah$4edt 702 $aScholey$b Andrew$4edt 702 $aStock$b Ann-Kathrin$4edt 702 $aVerster$b Joris$4oth 702 $aArnoldy$b Lizanne$4oth 702 $aBenson$b Sarah$4oth 702 $aScholey$b Andrew$4oth 702 $aStock$b Ann-Kathrin$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557141803321 996 $aThe Alcohol Hangover$93029512 997 $aUNINA
