Some of the microbes that inhabit this zone are bacteria and fungi that are capable of efficiently colonizing roots and rhizosphere soil. These microorganisms can be used as biofertilizers for improving agricultural production even under stressful environmental conditions. In contrast to PGPM, plant growth regulators (PGR) are chemical compounds that significantly affect the growth and differentiation of plant cells and tissues. They function as chemical messengers for intercellular communication and play a vital role in plant signaling networks as they are involved in the plant developmental process and a wide range of biotic and abiotic stress responses. The application of PGPM and plant growth regulators/hormones or the synthesis of PGR and signal transduction, perception, and cross-talk creates a complex network that plays an essential role in the regulation of plant physiological processes. A better understanding of the mechanism of action of PGPM and PGR and their roles in plant growth and development, interaction and independence in their action, and hormonal crosstalk under stresses is essential for agricultural production and research. Therefore, this book has contributions in the form of research and review papers from eminent scientists worldwide and discusses the role of PGPM and PGR in agriculture production and research, their potentials as biocontrol agents, their effects on physicochemical properties of soil, innovation for sustainable agriculture, their role in seed transplanting, and their role in mitigating biotic and abiotic stresses. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 610 $aABA biosynthesis 610 $aabiotic stress 610 $aabiotic stresses 610 $aallelopathic bacteria 610 $aallelopathy 610 $aAMF 610 $aantagonistic fungi 610 $aanthocyanins 610 $aantimetabolites 610 $aantioxidant 610 $aantioxidant enzymes 610 $aantioxidants 610 $aaridity 610 $aavailable phosphorus 610 $aBacillus 610 $aBacillus amyloliquefaciens GB03 610 $aBacillus sp. 610 $abacterial community composition 610 $abiochar 610 $abiocontrol 610 $abiocontrol Aspergillus japonicus 610 $abiological control 610 $abiomass reduction 610 $abiostimulant 610 $abiotic and abiotic stress 610 $abiotic effect 610 $abiotic stress 610 $aBradyrhizobium japonicum 610 $abrown seaweed 610 $acatalase activity 610 $acell membrane stability 610 $acereal crops 610 $achitosan 610 $achlorophyll fluorescence 610 $achromium 610 $aclimate change 610 $acolor 610 $acompatible solutes 610 $acrop nutrition 610 $acrop production 610 $adeep N fertilization 610 $aDPPH 610 $adrought 610 $adrought stress 610 $adrylands 610 $aendophytic bacteria 610 $aenriched compost 610 $aenvironmental stresses 610 $afermentation filtrate 610 $afertiliser 610 $afertilizers 610 $aflavonoids 610 $afruit size 610 $afruit yield 610 $agene expression 610 $agibberellic acid 610 $agreen algae 610 $agrowth regulators 610 $aliquid food waste materials (LFM) 610 $aMDA 610 $aMentha piperita 610 $ametal stress 610 $amVOCs 610 $an/a 610 $anitrogen fertilizer 610 $anutrient availability 610 $anutrient dynamics 610 $aorganic matter 610 $aosmolytes 610 $aoxidative stress 610 $aPaecilomyces 610 $apear trees 610 $apepper 610 $aperoxidase activity 610 $aPGPF 610 $aPGPMs (plant growth-promoting microorganisms) 610 $aPGPR 610 $aPGR 610 $aphenolics 610 $aphytohormone profiling 610 $aphytotoxic metabolites 610 $aplant biostimulants 610 $aplant growth 610 $aplant growth promoting ability 610 $aplant growth promoting microorganisms 610 $aPlant growth promoting rhizobacteria 610 $aplant growth promotion 610 $aplant growth regulators 610 $aplant growth-promoting (PGP) traits 610 $aplant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) 610 $aplant insect interactions 610 $aplant nutrients 610 $aplant probiotic microorganisms 610 $apolyamines 610 $apoultry litter 610 $aPseudomonas putida 610 $aPunica granatum 610 $arhizobacteria 610 $arhizobium 610 $arice cultivation 610 $aRIDER 610 $arock phosphate 610 $aroot-knot nematode 610 $asalinity 610 $asalt stress 610 $aseaweed extract 610 $asecondary metabolites 610 $aseed germination 610 $asignaling 610 $asignaling network 610 $asoil enzymes 610 $asoil health 610 $asoil nutrients 610 $asoil-borne phytopathogens 610 $aSolanum lycopersicum L. 610 $asoybean 610 $aSpodoptera litura (Fabricius) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) 610 $aStaphylococcus aureus 610 $asugar beet 610 $asugar yield 610 $asustainable development 610 $asweet pepper 610 $asymbiosis 610 $atee tree oil 610 $aTimac Agro Italia 610 $atissue specific response 610 $atomato 610 $atransporters 610 $aTrichoderma 610 $aTSS 610 $awater conservation 610 $aweed invasion 610 $awheat 610 $aZea mays L. 610 $a?-Tocopherol 615 7$aResearch & information: general 700 $aKhan$b Naeem$4edt$01289228 702 $aKhan$b Naeem$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557367403321 996 $aApplication of Plant Growth Promoting Microorganism and Plant Growth Regulators in Agricultural Production and Research$93021114 997 $aUNINA LEADER 07994nam 2202557z- 450 001 9910557108103321 005 20210501 035 $a(CKB)5400000000040966 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/69423 035 $a(oapen)doab69423 035 $a(EXLCZ)995400000000040966 100 $a20202105d2020 |y 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn|---annan 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aAnimal Narratology 210 $aBasel, Switzerland$cMDPI - Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute$d2020 215 $a1 online resource (454 p.) 311 08$a3-03928-348-0 311 08$a3-03928-349-9 330 $aAnimal Narratology interrogates what it means to narrate, to speak-speak for, on behalf of-and to voice, or represent life beyond the human, which is in itself as different as insects, bears, and dogs are from each other, and yet more, as individual as a single mouse, horse, or puma. The varied contributions to this interdisciplinary Special Issue highlight assumptions about the human perception of, attitude toward, and responsibility for the animals that are read and written about, thus demonstrating that just as "the animal" does not exist, neither does "the human". In their zoopoetic focus, the analyses are aware that animal narratology ultimately always contains an approximation of an animal perspective in human terms and terminology, yet they make clear that what matters is how the animal is approximated and that there is an effort to approach and encounter the non-human in the first place. Many of the analyses come to the conclusion that literary animals give readers the opportunity to expand their own points of view both on themselves and others by adopting another's perspective to the degree that such an endeavor is possible. Ultimately, the contributions call for a recognition of the many spaces, moments, and modes in which human lives are entangled with those of animals-one of which is located within the creative bounds of storytelling. 606 $aAnimals & society$2bicssc 606 $aBiology, life sciences$2bicssc 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 610 $a'Inventing a Horse 610 $a'Morenga' 610 $a'Spermaceti' 610 $aAchilles 610 $aadaptation studies 610 $aAesopic fables 610 $aAfrican history 610 $aagency 610 $aallegory 610 $aanimal 610 $aanimal agency 610 $aanimal autobiography 610 $aAnimal Farm 610 $aanimal narration 610 $aanimal narratology 610 $aanimal narrator 610 $aanimal narrators 610 $aanimal poetry 610 $aanimal studies 610 $aAnimal Studies 610 $aanimality 610 $aanimals 610 $aantagonistic fables 610 $aanthropocentrism 610 $aanthropological machine 610 $aanthropology 610 $aanthropomorphism 610 $aArchilochus 610 $aautobiography 610 $aBollywood 610 $aBulgakov 610 $aCartesian dualism 610 $acatastrophe 610 $aCervantes 610 $acharacterization 610 $aChicken Run 610 $acinema 610 $aCixous 610 $acolonialism 610 $acomics 610 $acommunity 610 $aconflict 610 $acontextualist narratology 610 $acultural and literary animal studies 610 $acultural ontologies 610 $acynicism 610 $adecolonization 610 $aDerrida 610 $aDiogenes of Sinope 610 $adirect speech 610 $adiscourse analysis 610 $adogs 610 $adystopia 610 $aEarly Modern Age 610 $aearth 610 $aeco-criticism 610 $aeco-humanities 610 $aeco-philosophy 610 $aecology 610 $aecopsychology 610 $aEl coloquio de los perros 610 $aempathy 610 $aemulation 610 $aentanglement 610 $aenvironmental crisis 610 $aenvironmental philosophy 610 $aequine autozoography 610 $aEric Linklater 610 $aexile 610 $afable 610 $afiction-nonfiction distinction 610 $afictional autobiography 610 $afilm 610 $afilm studies 610 $afilmic representation of animals 610 $afox 610 $aframing and footing 610 $aFranz Kafka 610 $agenre 610 $aGeorge Orwell 610 $aGerard Genette 610 $aGreek fable 610 $aGryllus 610 $aHans Sahl 610 $aHesiod 610 $aHindi cinema 610 $aHomer 610 $ahorse-science 610 $ahuman 610 $ahuman-animal studies 610 $ahumanism 610 $aIK 610 $aimitation 610 $aindigenous wisdom traditions 610 $aIndustrial Farm Animal Production 610 $ainoperativity 610 $ainstinct 610 $ainter-species comprehension 610 $aintermediality 610 $aintertextuality 610 $aintradiegetic narration 610 $aintuition 610 $aKafka studies 610 $alanguage 610 $alife writing 610 $aliterary representation 610 $aliterary theory 610 $aLucian 610 $alyric poetry 610 $amanuscripts 610 $aMarie Darrieussecq 610 $amaterial ecocriticism 610 $aMaurice Merleau-Ponty 610 $ameta-autobiography 610 $ametamorphosis 610 $amimesis 610 $aMoby-Dick 610 $amole 610 $aMontaigne 610 $amore-than-human geography 610 $amulti-perspective narration 610 $amultispecies ethnography 610 $amusic 610 $amyth 610 $an/a 610 $anarrative 610 $anarrative representation 610 $anarrative voice 610 $anarratology 610 $anatural history 610 $anon-human 610 $anon-human focalizer 610 $anon-human narrators 610 $anon-verbal communication 610 $aNovela del casamiento engan?oso 610 $aNovelas ejemplares 610 $aparody 610 $apig 610 $aPincher Martin 610 $aplay theory 610 $aplot 610 $aPlutarch 610 $apoetics of knowledge 610 $apoliteness 610 $apostcolonial German literature 610 $aposthumanism 610 $aPythagoras 610 $arelationality 610 $arepetition 610 $arhetoric 610 $aRichard Adams 610 $arooster 610 $aRussian literature 610 $ascience fiction 610 $aself-narratives 610 $aSiglo de Oro 610 $asinging mice 610 $asound effects 610 $aspace 610 $aspeaking animals 610 $aspeaking-for 610 $aspecies 610 $atalking animal stories 610 $atalking dogs 610 $aTEK 610 $aThe Plague Dogs 610 $aThe Wind on the Moon 610 $atime 610 $aTolstoy 610 $atransformation 610 $atrauma theory 610 $aTruismes 610 $aunreliability 610 $aUwe Timm 610 $aWerner Herzog 610 $aWhite God 610 $aworld literature 610 $aworldviews 610 $aXanthus 610 $azoology 610 $azoopoetics 615 7$aAnimals & society 615 7$aBiology, life sciences 615 7$aResearch & information: general 700 $aJacobs$b Joela$4edt$01311316 702 $aJacobs$b Joela$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910557108103321 996 $aAnimal Narratology$93030236 997 $aUNINA
