This application of the method grew out of discoveries made during an investigation of the psychotherapy of schizophrenia, when it was found that even trained observers could not agree on what they had actually seen during a given session. When the sessions were filmed, the observers' objectivity improved but the basic problem of data reduction and interpretation remained unsolved. The final solution came when the directors of research applied the method of context analysis worked out in the field of communication research. Dr. Scheflen shows that analysis of communicational structure, with emphasis on non-verbal behavior?"body language"?is a logical approach to studies of this type. 606 $aOnderzoek$2gtt 606 $aPsychotherapeut-clie?nt-relatie$2gtt 606 $aPsychiatry$xResearch$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst01081179 606 $aInterviewing in psychiatry$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00977634 606 $aPsychiatrie$xRecherche 606 $aEntretiens (Psychiatrie) 606 $aPsychotherapy 606 $aNonverbal communication 606 $aPsychiatry$xResearch 606 $aInterviewing in psychiatry 608 $aElectronic books. 615 10$aOnderzoek. 615 10$aPsychotherapeut-clie?nt-relatie. 615 0$aPsychiatry$xResearch. 615 0$aInterviewing in psychiatry. 615 0$aPsychiatrie$xRecherche. 615 0$aEntretiens (Psychiatrie) 615 0$aPsychotherapy. 615 0$aNonverbal communication. 615 0$aPsychiatry$xResearch. 615 0$aInterviewing in psychiatry. 700 $aScheflen$b Albert E$0457506 801 0$bMdBmJHUP 801 1$bMdBmJHUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910524680003321 996 $aCommunicational Structure$92772149 997 $aUNINA
