The contributions analyze links between countries via global trade, colonial history, similarity in culture, and spatial proximity. Networks are viewed as the structural backbone of the diffusion process, and diffusion is anlaysed via several subfields of social policy, in order to interrogate which network dimensions drive this process. The focus is on a global perspective of social policy diffusion via networks, and is the first book to explicitly follow this macro-quantitative perspective on diffusion at a global scale whilst also comparing different networks. The collection tests the network structures in terms of their relevance to the diffusion process in different subfields of social policy such as old age and survivor pensions, labor and labor markets, health and long-term care, educationand training, and family and gender policy. The book will therefore be invaluable to students and researchers of global social policy, sociology, political science, international relations, organization theory and economics. 410 0$aGlobal Dynamics of Social Policy,$x2661-8680 606 $aSocial policy 606 $aWelfare state 606 $aComparative government 606 $aGlobal Social Policy 606 $aWelfare 606 $aComparative Public Policy 615 0$aSocial policy. 615 0$aWelfare state. 615 0$aComparative government. 615 14$aGlobal Social Policy. 615 24$aWelfare. 615 24$aComparative Public Policy. 676 $a361.61 686 $aPHI034000$aPOL028000$aPOL029000$2bisacsh 700 $aWindzio$b Michael$0801282 701 $aMossig$b Ivo$01238986 701 $aBesche-Truthe$b Fabian$01238987 701 $aSeitzer$b Helen$01238988 801 0$bAU-PeEL 801 1$bAU-PeEL 801 2$bAU-PeEL 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910510540703321 996 $aNetworks and Geographies of Global Social Policy Diffusion$92875084 997 $aUNINA
