Quelles nouveautés la modernité littéraire a-t-elle apportées à la lecture et à la réception en termes d?énergie ? Qu?en est-il aujourd?hui ? Le tournant pragmatique qui s?est développé dans les études littéraires depuis les années 1980 nous a rendus sensibles aux effets éthiques et existentiels des textes dans la vie même des lecteurs. Notre réflexion intégrera aussi les effets historiques et politiques de la littérature des trois derniers siècles : comment la lecture peut-elle entraîner une mise en acte, une mise en action (une energeia) ?
