Ann Ronchetti locates the sources of Woolf's lifelong preoccupation with the artist's relationship to society in her family heritage, her exposure to Walter Pater and the aesthetic movement, and the philosophical and aesthetic interests of the Bloomsbury group. 410 0$aStudies in major literary authors. 606 $aSocial values in literature 606 $aArtists in literature 606 $aSex in literature 615 0$aSocial values in literature. 615 0$aArtists in literature. 615 0$aSex in literature. 676 $a823/.912 700 $aRonchetti$b Ann$01479884 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910783979703321 996 $aThe artist, society, and sexuality in Virginia Woolf's novels$93696254 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04019nam 22007935 450 001 9910495191403321 005 20251219163631.0 010 $a9789811539749 010 $a981153974X 024 7 $a10.1007/978-981-15-3974-9 035 $a(CKB)5590000000551187 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6717835 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6717835 035 $a(OCoLC)1267765481 035 $a(PPN)258055723 035 $a(DE-He213)978-981-15-3974-9 035 $a(EXLCZ)995590000000551187 100 $a20210902d2021 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAdherence to Antiretroviral Therapy among Perinatal Women in Guyana $eChallenges and Lessons for Developing Nations /$fby Debbie Vitalis 205 $a1st ed. 2021. 210 1$aSingapore :$cSpringer Nature Singapore :$cImprint: Palgrave Macmillan,$d2021. 215 $a1 online resource (289 pages) 311 08$a9789811539732 311 08$a9811539731 327 $aChapter 1: Introduction -- Chapter 2: HIV and AIDS in Guyana -- Chapter 3: Factors affecting antiretroviral therapy adherence among HIV-positive pregnant and postpartum women: an adapted systematic review -- Chapter 4: Characteristics of pregnant women in Guyana with and without HIV -- Chapter 5: Antiretroviral perspectives of pregnant and postpartum women in Guyana: barriers and facilitators -- Chapter 6: Adherence patterns to prenatal vitamins and pregnancy health behaviors -- Chapter 7: Predictors of ART adherence -- Chapter 8: Predicting adherence to antiretroviral therapy among pregnant women in Guyana: utility of the health belief model -- Chapter 9: Discussion and Key Implications. 330 $aThe book documents the history of the prevention-of-mother-to child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) program in Guyana, as well as the impact of HIV on pregnant and postpartum women's adherence to antiretroviral therapy (ART). The book shows research work by reviewing the literature to investigate relevant adherence studies, presenting in-depth interviews on adherence perspectives of clinic patients and healthcare providers, and a cross-sectional descriptive study of pregnant women that investigated general adherence to pregnancy-related behaviours and ART, and the efficacy of a theoretical model (Health Belief Model) to understand and predict ART adherence within this group. Author discusses the factors affecting ART adherence among pregnant and postpartum women, since existing studies may not account for cultural and other local variations. The findings provide insight into the local situation, and will also inform policy and practice in Guyana, and the wider Caribbean Community (CARICOM). 606 $aMedical care 606 $aEconomic development 606 $aPolitical planning 606 $aHealth 606 $aSex 606 $aHealth Care 606 $aDevelopment Studies 606 $aPublic Policy 606 $aGender and Health 606 $aAntiretrovirals$2thub 606 $aVIH (Virus)$2thub 606 $aEmbarassades$2thub 606 $aAssistència sanitària$2thub 607 $aGuyana$2thub 607 $aPaïsos en vies de desenvolupament$2thub 608 $aLlibres electrònics$2thub 615 0$aMedical care. 615 0$aEconomic development. 615 0$aPolitical planning. 615 0$aHealth. 615 0$aSex. 615 14$aHealth Care. 615 24$aDevelopment Studies. 615 24$aPublic Policy. 615 24$aGender and Health. 615 7$aAntiretrovirals 615 7$aVIH (Virus) 615 7$aEmbarassades 615 7$aAssistència sanitària 676 $a616.9792061 700 $aVitalis$b Deborah$01237454 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910495191403321 996 $aAdherence to antiretroviral therapy among perinatal women in Guyana$92872599 997 $aUNINA
