L?étude du matériel exhumé, en majorité du VIe s., et celle de la faune, qui se distingue nettement par les races de la faune de l?âge du Fer et témoigne de pratiques alimentaires différentes, mettent en évidence l?importance et le caractère durable de la romanisation dans la Corse de l?intérieur et la persistance des échanges avec le reste du bassin méditerranéen en dépit de l?invasion vandale. Cet ouvrage est donc un premier et remarquable pas vers une approche nouvelle de cette période de l?histoire corse. The publication of excavations at Castellu throws an entirely new light upon late-Roman and early-medieval Corsica. The study includes an examination of the finds, most of which are of 6th century date, and an analysis of the faunal remains. The latter shows not only that domesticated species differed from those of the Iron-Age but also that eating habits had changed. The resulting picture is one of significant and long-lasting Romanisation of innerCorsica, and of ongoing trade relations with the rest of the Mediterranean region, even after the Vandal invasion. The publication marks a major step towards a new understanding of this period of Corsican history. 517 $aCastellu 606 $aExcavations (Archaeology)$zFrance$zCorte Region 606 $aRomans$zFrance$zCorte Region 607 $aCastellu Site (France) 607 $aCorte Region (France)$xAntiquities, Roman 610 $amonnaie 610 $acéramique 610 $aAntiquité 610 $amétal 610 $amobilier 610 $arestauration 610 $aconservation 610 $aargile 610 $aCastellu 610 $aTavignano 610 $aHaute-Corse 615 0$aExcavations (Archaeology) 615 0$aRomans 700 $aAntomarchi$b Catherine$01283025 701 $aBrenot$b Claude$0734355 701 $aCarignani$b Andrea$0474941 701 $aCocchini$b Fabrizia$01283026 701 $aFévrier$b Paul?Albert$01283027 701 $aLevy$b J$0778949 701 $aMaria Loreti$b Ersilia$01283028 701 $aMarlnval?Vigne$b Marie?Christine$01283029 701 $aMartorelli$b Rosana$01283030 701 $aMartorelli$b Rossana$0776748 701 $aPacetti$b F$01283031 701 $aPentiricci$b M$01283032 701 $aPergola$b Philippe$0170760 701 $aRuas$b Marie?Pierre$01283033 701 $aVigne$b Jean?Denis$01283034 701 $aVismara$b Cinzia$0168277 701 $aPergola$b Philippe$0170760 701 $aVismara$b Cinzia$0168277 801 0$bFR-FrMaCLE 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910571797303321 996 $aCastellu (Haute-Corse)$93018912 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02912nam 2200661 450 001 9910485584303321 005 20210820213656.0 010 $a3-631-76906-7 010 $a3-631-76905-9 035 $a(CKB)4100000007986677 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5755629 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/70819 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000007986677 100 $a20190514d2019 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aOral history and the war $ethe Nazi concentration camp experience in a biographical-narrative perspective /$fPiotr Filipkowski 210 $aBern$cPeter Lang International Academic Publishing Group$d2019 210 1$aBerlin :$cPeter Lang,$d2019. 215 $a1 online resource (443 pages) 225 1 $aStudies in Contemporary History 311 $a3-631-74866-3 330 $aThis book is rooted in the author?s experience as an interviewer and researcher in the Mauthausen Survivors Documentation Project ? the biggest European oral history project devoted to a single Nazi concentration camp system, realized in the years 2002/2003 at the University of Vienna. Over 850 Mauthausen survivors have been recorded worldwide, more than 160 of them in Poland, and over 30 by the author. The work offers an in-depth analysis of Polish survivors? accounts, sensitive to both, form and content of these stories, as well as their social and cultural framing. The analysis is accompanied by an interpretation of (Polish) camp experiences in a broader biographical and historical perspective. The book is an interpretive journey from camp experiences, through the survivors? memories, to narratives recalling them ? and backwards. 606 $aNazi concentration camp inmates$zAustria$zMauthausen$vInterviews 606 $aWorld War, 1939-1945$vPersonal narratives, Polish 607 $aAustria$zMauthausen$2fast 608 $aInterviews.$2fast 608 $aPersonal narratives$vPolish.$2fast 610 $aBiographical 610 $abiographical memory 610 $aCamp 610 $aConcentration 610 $aconcentration camp experience 610 $aExperience 610 $aFilipkowski 610 $aHistory 610 $aNarrative 610 $anarrative analysis 610 $aNazi 610 $aOral 610 $aPerspective 610 $aPolish political prisoners 610 $asurvivors? testimonies 610 $aWorld War Two 615 0$aNazi concentration camp inmates 615 0$aWorld War, 1939-1945 676 $a940.547243094362 700 $aFilipkowski$b Piotr$0855378 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910485584303321 996 $aOral history and the war$91909590 997 $aUNINA
