MMM is a leading international conference for researchersand industry practitioners to share their new ideas, original research results and practicaldevelopment experiences from all multimedia related areas. MMM2010attractedmorethan160regular,specialsession,anddemosession submissions from 21 countries/regions around the world. All submitted papers were reviewed by at least two PC members or external reviewers, and most of them were reviewed by three reviewers. The review process was very selective. Authors of accepted papers come from 16 countries/regions. This volume of the proceedings contains the abstracts of three invited talks and all the regular, short, special session and demo papers. The regular papers were categorized into nine sections: 3D mod- ing;advancedvideocodingandadaptation;face, gestureandapplications;image processing;imageretrieval;learningsemanticconcepts;mediaanalysisandm- eling; semantic video concepts; and tracking and motion analysis. Three special sessions were video analysis and event recognition, cross-X multimedia mining in large scale, and mobile computing and applications. The technical programfeatured three invited talks, paralleloral presentation of all the accepted regular and special session papers, and poster sessions for short and demo papers. 410 0$aLecture notes in computer science ;$v5916. 410 0$aLNCS Sublibrary.$nSL 3,$pInformation systems and application including Internt/Web and HCI. 517 3 $aSixteenth International Multimedia Modeling Conference 517 3 $a16th International Multimedia Modeling Conference 517 3 $aMMM 2010 606 $aComputer graphics$vCongresses 606 $aMultimedia systems$vCongresses 615 0$aComputer graphics 615 0$aMultimedia systems 676 $a006.6 686 $aDAT 670f$2stub 686 $aSS 4800$2rvk 701 $aBoll$b Susanne$0868265 712 12$aInternational Multimedia Modelling Conference 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910484914803321 996 $aAdvances in Multimedia Modeling$94202102 997 $aUNINA
