Agent-oriented modelling techniques are important for supporting the design and development of such applications. This book provides a diverse and interesting overview of the work that is currently being undertaken by a growing number of researchers and research groups in the area of Agent-Oriented Software Engineering. The papers present leading edge research in this field, which is of critical importance in facilitating industry take-up of powerful agent technologies. This volume constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-proceedings of the 7th International Workshop on Agent-Oriented Software Engineering, AOSE 2006, held in Hakodate, Japan, in May 2006 as part of AAMAS 2006. The 13 revised full papers were carefully selected from numerous submissions during two rounds of reviewing and improvement and have been complemented by invited papers from leading researchers in the field. The papers are organized in topical sections on modelling and design of agent systems, modelling open agent systems, formal reasoning about designs, as well as testing, debugging and evolvability. 410 0$aLecture notes in computer science ;$v4405. 606 $aSoftware engineering$vCongresses 606 $aIntelligent agents (Computer software)$vCongresses 615 0$aSoftware engineering 615 0$aIntelligent agents (Computer software) 676 $a005.1 702 $aPadgham$b Lin 702 $aZambonelli$b Franco$f1966- 712 12$aAOSE 2006 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465414603316 996 $aAgent-Oriented Software Engineering VII$9772276 997 $aUNISA LEADER 03609oam 2200481 450 001 9910484912803321 005 20210424163238.0 010 $a3-030-57344-3 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-57344-7 035 $a(CKB)4100000011569195 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-57344-7 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6395803 035 $a(PPN)252510054 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011569195 100 $a20210424d2021 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn|008mamaa 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 04$aThe Andean cloud forest /$fRandall W. Conclusions, synthesis and future directions. 330 $aA book focused solely on Andean Cloud Forests (ACF) has never been published. ACF are high biodiversity ecosystems in the Neotropics with a large proportion of endemic species, and are important for the hydrology of entire regions. They provide water for large parts of the Amazon basin, for example. Here I take advantage of my many years working in ACF in Ecuador, to edit this book that contains the following sections: (1) ACF over space and time, (2) Hydrology, (3) Light and the Carbon cycle, (4) Soil, litter, fungi and nutrient cycling, (5) Plants, (6) Animals, and (7) Human impacts and management. Under this premise, international experts contributed chapters that consist of reviews of what is known about their topic, of what research they have done, and of what needs to be done in the future. This work is suitable for graduate students, professors, scientists, and researcher-oriented managers. 606 $aCloud forest ecology$zAndes Region 606 $aCloud forests$zAndes Region 606 $aBiotic communities 615 0$aCloud forest ecology 615 0$aCloud forests 615 0$aBiotic communities. 676 $a577.82 702 $aMyster$b Randall W$g(Randall Walton),$f1955- 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bUtOrBLW 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910484912803321 996 $aThe Andean cloud forest$92804051 997 $aUNINA
