As all of these fields evolve independently, database software has proven to under-utilize the underlying hardware technology. For the past decade, DaMoN has established itself as the primary venue for researchers to exchange information, learn from each other, and improve the interaction between the database software and the underlying hardware and devices, as well as discovering and understanding hardware trends and building strong data management systems for the future. This workshop aims at researchers from both data management, computer architecture, and storage systems who are interested in optimizing database performance on modern computing infrastructure by designing new data management techniques and tools. 606 $aDatabase management$vCongresses 606 $aComputer architecture$vCongresses 615 0$aDatabase management 615 0$aComputer architecture 676 $a005.74 702 $aBlanas$b Spyros 702 $aMay$b Norman 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910580190503321 996 $a18th International Workshop on Data Management on New Hardware (DaMoN2022)$93448057 997 $aUNINA LEADER 05881nam 2200781 a 450 001 9910789546903321 005 20200520144314.0 010 $a1-283-12037-2 010 $a9786613120373 010 $a90-04-19234-4 024 7 $a10.1163/ej.9789004192096.i-490 035 $a(CKB)2670000000094034 035 $a(EBL)717489 035 $a(OCoLC)729627867 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000502554 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11306984 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000502554 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10520078 035 $a(PQKB)10236621 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC717489 035 $a(OCoLC)703168403 035 $a(nllekb)BRILL9789004192348 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL717489 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10470594 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL312037 035 $a(PPN)174393040 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000094034 100 $a20100902d2010 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aBonaventura Vulcanius, Brugge 1588-Leiden 1614$b[electronic resource] $epapers /$fedited and introduced by He?le?ne Cazes 210 $aLeiden ;$aBoston $cBrill$d2010 215 $a1 online resource (504 p.) 225 1 $aBrill's studies in intellectual history,$x0920-8607 ;$vv. 194 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a90-04-19209-3 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $aSketch of an accepted chronology for the life and works of Bonaventura Vulcanius -- Telling of Vulcanius : Plethora and Lacunae / He?le?ne Cazes -- The many lives of Bonaventura Vulcanius, 1614-2010 (Exploring biographies and introducing this collection of papers) / He?le?ne Cazes -- Legacies and portraits -- "The honour of letters" : Bonaventura Vulcanius, scholar and poet / Harm-Jan van Dam -- Petrus Cunaeus, Oratio in obitum B. Born in Bruges in 1538, the son of a disciple of Erasmus, he spent the troubled decades of 1560 and 1570 in wanderings before his appointment in 1581 as a Professor for Greek and Latin Letters at the University of Leiden. He edited and translated many a rare text, composed dictionaries, sent laudatory poems, and compiled the first chapters of a history of Germanic languages. This volume gathers recent research on this versatile philologist, and includes the first edition of many unpublished works and documents. Contributors are Karel Bostoen, Hélène Cazes, Thomas M.
