Lee examines the trinitarian theologies of Gregory of Nyssa and Augustine of Hippo, as representative of, respectively, the eastern and western patristic traditions. He demonstrates that they share similar ideas on the monarchy of the Father and on the role of the Son in the procession of the Holy Spirit, notwithstanding their slightly different expressions and perspectives. As such, the present study seeks to work towards a common patristic foundation for reconciliation between East and West on the problem of the filioque . 410 0$aSupplements to Vigiliae Christianae ;$vVolume 169. 606 $aHoly Spirit$xProcession$xHistory of doctrines 606 $aTrinity$xHistory of doctrines 615 0$aHoly Spirit$xProcession$xHistory of doctrines. 615 0$aTrinity$xHistory of doctrines. 676 $a230.14092 700 $aLee$b Chungman$01630122 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910823846303321 996 $aGregory of Nyssa, Augustine of Hippo, and the Filioque$93968233 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04574nam 22007095 450 001 9910484794303321 005 20200712224800.0 010 $a3-662-54712-0 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-662-54712-0 035 $a(CKB)3710000001418465 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4891418 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-662-54712-0 035 $a(PPN)202988414 035 $a(iGPub)SPNA0053575 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000001418465 100 $a20170629d2017 u| 0 101 0 $ager 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $2rdacontent 182 $2rdamedia 183 $2rdacarrier 200 10$a50 Jahre Universitäts-Informatik in München /$fherausgegeben von Arndt Bode, Manfred Broy, Hans-Joachim Bungartz, Florian Matthes 205 $a1st ed. 2017. 210 1$aBerlin, Heidelberg :$cSpringer Berlin Heidelberg :$cImprint: Springer Vieweg,$d2017. 215 $a1 online resource (202 pages) 311 08$a3-662-54711-2 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $a50 Jahre Informatik an den Universitäten in München -- Cybersicherheit Beyond 2020 -- Allgegenwärtige Mensch-Computer-Interaktion -- Software-Verifikation -- Innovationszentrum Mobiles Internet ZD.B -- Medieninformatik und Mensch-Computer-Interaktion an der LMU München -- Neuro-Robotics -- Herausforderungen an der Schnittstelle von Informatik und Gesellschaft -- Die Evolution des Hauptspeicher-Datenbanksystems HyPer -- Informatik-Forschung für digitale Mobilitätsplattformen.
