This year?s event was the fourth event in the EuroPKI Workshops series. Previous events of the series were held in: Samos, Greece (2004); Kent, UK (2005); and Turin, Italy, (2006). In response to the call for papers, 77 papers were submitted to this year?s workshop, setting a record of the highest number of papers submitted to an EuroPKI event so far and confirming an increased interest in PKI research and in the EuroPKI event. Each paper was reviewed by three members of the Program Committee, and evaluated on the basis of its significance, novelty, technical quality and relevance to the workshop. The paper selection process was very competitive: of the papers submitted, only 21 full papers and 8 short papers were selected for presentation at the workshop and inclusion in this volume. 410 0$aSecurity and Cryptology,$x2946-1863 ;$v4582 606 $aCryptography 606 $aData encryption (Computer science) 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aInformation storage and retrieval systems 606 $aApplication software 606 $aComputers and civilization 606 $aElectronic data processing$xManagement 606 $aCryptology 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aInformation Storage and Retrieval 606 $aComputer and Information Systems Applications 606 $aComputers and Society 606 $aIT Operations 615 0$aCryptography. 615 0$aData encryption (Computer science). 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 0$aInformation storage and retrieval systems. 615 0$aApplication software. 615 0$aComputers and civilization. 615 0$aElectronic data processing$xManagement. 615 14$aCryptology. 615 24$aAlgorithms. 615 24$aInformation Storage and Retrieval. 615 24$aComputer and Information Systems Applications. 615 24$aComputers and Society. 615 24$aIT Operations. 676 $a005.8 702 $aLopez$b Javier 702 $aSamarati$b Pierangela 702 $aFerrer$b Josep L. 712 12$aEuropean PKI Workshop. 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910484280303321 996 $aPublic Key Infrastructure$9772130 997 $aUNINA
