The 27 full papers and 3 short papers included in this volume were carefully reviewed and selected from 68 submissions. The accepted papers span a number of areas within Logics in AI, including: argumentation; belief revision; reasoning about actions, causality, and change; constraint satisfaction; description logics and ontological reasoning; non-classical logics; and logic programming (answer set programming). 410 0$aLecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence ;$v12678 606 $aArtificial intelligence 606 $aLogic, Symbolic and mathematical$vCongresses 606 $aArtificial intelligence$vCongresses 615 0$aArtificial intelligence. 615 0$aLogic, Symbolic and mathematical 615 0$aArtificial intelligence 676 $a006.3 702 $aFaber$b Wolfgang 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910483765403321 996 $aLogics in Artificial Intelligence$9772596 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01679nam 2200349 450 001 9910688201803321 005 20230703164734.0 035 $a(CKB)5400000000043167 035 $a(NjHacI)995400000000043167 035 $a(EXLCZ)995400000000043167 100 $a20230703d2020 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aCardiorespiratory Fitness /$fedited by Hasan So?zen 210 1$aLondon :$cIntechOpen,$d2020. 215 $a1 online resource (104 pages) $cillustrations 311 $a1-83968-386-4 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 330 $aCardiorespiratory fitness reflects the ability of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems to transport oxygen to the working muscles of the human body during exercise. It is influenced by factors such as age, genetic structure, body composition, and gender. This book provides the reader with interesting and current data about cardiorespiratory fitness. Chapters cover such topics as pulmonary rehabilitation in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, ischemic preconditioning, metabolic syndrome in adults, cardiorespiratory fitness and intellectual disability, influence of lifestyle on body composition, and effect of exercise on cognitive performance in the elderly. 606 $aRespiratory organs$xDiseases$vCongresses 615 0$aRespiratory organs$xDiseases 676 $a616.2 702 $aSo?zen$b Hasan 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910688201803321 996 $aCardiorespiratory Fitness$92135872 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03394 am 2200673 n 450 001 9910731420603321 005 20230309 010 $a2-940600-42-2 024 7 $a10.4000/books.iheid.9020 035 $a(CKB)5670000000618326 035 $a(FrMaCLE)OB-iheid-9020 035 $a(PPN)269165843 035 $a(EXLCZ)995670000000618326 100 $a20230316j|||||||| ||| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $auu||||||m|||| 200 10$aBack Then It Was Culture, Now It Is Animal Torture $eMoral-Phenomenological Milieu of Human-Elephant Entanglements in Kerala /$fAnu Karippal 210 $aGeneva $cGraduate Institute Publications$d2023 330 $aInterrogating responses and reactions and the atmosphere of fear that my presence instigated, this paper critically examines human-elephant relations in Kerala amidst the bigger debates on animal rights, the emergence of elephants as a flagship species of conservation, and concerns regarding elephant captivity. The paper delves into how elephant handlers and owners reposition themselves and respond to activistic claims that portray human-elephant relations as torturous. Further, the study calls into question the strict nature-culture/wild-domesticated binaries posed by the activism discourse by probing the fuzzy naturecultures through which elephants and humans navigate their mundane lives. Moving forward, the research proposes that humans and elephants are attuned and entangled through nuanced phenomenological alignments that the normative moral frameworks on elephant captivity seem to overlook. Deploying various disciplinary and theoretical frameworks, this paper argues that incorporating the ethical turn in anthropology can yield incisive perspectives in interspecies studies.
