It summarizes results from recent scientific research based on observational analysis, data diagnosis, theoretical analysis, and model simulations. The book covers the following research areas: (1) characteristics and mechanisms of spring?summer atmospheric circulation systems, (2) ocean-atmosphere-land interaction and climate variability, (3) climate effect of the Tibetan Plateau, (4) attribution of regional climate change and feedback/impact of regional climate on the global climate, and (5) seasonal-to-subseasonal climate prediction. It is anticipated that the book provides useful information for enhancing our understanding of the change in climate over Southeast Asia and the adjacent regions. 410 0$aSpringer climate. 606 $aClimatic changes$zSoutheast Asia 615 0$aClimatic changes 676 $a363.738740959 700 $aYang$b Song$0431009 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910483431603321 996 $aClimate change in Southeast Asia and surrounding areas$92848084 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01217nam 2200349Ia 450 001 996383460603316 005 20221108034200.0 035 $a(CKB)1000000000598624 035 $a(EEBO)2240861422 035 $a(OCoLC)14562886 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000598624 100 $a19861029d1677 uy | 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurbn||||a|bb| 200 12$aA treatise concerning the motion of the seas and winds$b[electronic resource] /$fwritten in Latine by Isaac Vossius, and translated for the use of the publick, but particularly such as go to sea 210 $aLondon $cPrinted by H.C. for Henry Brome ...$d1677 215 $a[8], 189 p. $cill 300 $aImperfect: pages stained and with print show-through. 300 $aReproduction of original in the Huntington Library. 330 $aeebo-0113 606 $aMotion$vEarly works to 1800 606 $aNavigation$vEarly works to 1800 615 0$aMotion 615 0$aNavigation 700 $aVossius$b Isaac$f1618-1689.$0328209 801 0$bEAG 801 1$bEAG 801 2$bWaOLN 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996383460603316 996 $aA treatise concerning the motion of the seas and winds$92426554 997 $aUNISA LEADER 04016nam 2200469 450 001 9910420944203321 005 20230719184228.0 010 $a90-04-43496-8 024 7 $a10.1163/9789004434967 035 $a(CKB)4100000011352828 035 $z(OCoLC)1178895898 035 $a(nllekb)BRILL9789004434967 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/30978 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011352828 100 $a20200813d2021 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurun#---uuuua 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $2rdacarrier 200 10$aLire l'Histoire générale des Antilles de J.-B. Proceeding from a literary analysis, our study suggests a reconfiguration of exoticism based both on contemporary theorizing and on the historical context and aesthetics of the time. Our work is therefore both theoretical by offering a critical analysis of the different orientations of exoticism; and historical, by presenting an in-depth reading of a work of considerable importance both for the history of French and West Indian literature and for the history of anthropology. In this regard, this study will also provide an exploration of the very first French colonization of the islands and how it was represented. This book examines the historical ramifications of the concept of exoticism through a literary analysis of Histoire générale des Antilles (1654 / 1667-71) written by Dominican missionary Jean-Baptiste Du Tertre. 410 0$aFrancopolyphonies ;$v31. 606 $aLiterature 607 $aWest Indies, French$xHistory 610 $aLiterature: history & criticism 615 0$aLiterature. 676 $a803 700 $aKullberg$b Christina$f1973-$0799387 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910420944203321 996 $aLire l'Histoire générale des Antilles de J.-B.
