But is Africa ready for this fight? Do the anti-fraud practitioners possess strategies to equip Africa for this fight? This book highlights some of the major challenges facing African developing and post conflict countries with regard to, among others: (1) policy, political will, and legal framework in the prevention and deterrence of fraud and corruption; (2) strategies, coordination of institutional frameworks and institutions; lack of human and infrastructural resources as well as the time- and energy-intensive nature required for fraud detection, investigation, and resolution.
