In this incident, hundreds of villagers formed a mob led by a young nun who was said to be possessed by a deity associated with the famous warrior-king Gesar. In their rampage the mob attacked, mutilated, and killed county officials and local villagers as well as People's Liberation Army troops. This groundbreaking book, the first on the Cultural Revolution in Tibet, revisits the Nyemo Incident, which has long been romanticized as the epitome of Tibetan nationalist resistance against China. Melvyn C. Goldstein, Ben Jiao, and Tanzen Lhundrup demonstrate that far from being a spontaneous battle for independence, this violent event was actually part of a struggle between rival revolutionary groups and was not ethnically based. On the Cultural Revolution in Tibet proffers a sober assessment of human malleability and challenges the tendency to view every sign of unrest in Tibet in ethno-nationalist terms. 606 $aHistory$zChina 607 $aTibet Autonomous Region (China)$xHistory$yNyemo Incident, 1969 607 $aChina$xHistory$yCultural Revolution, 1966-1976 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aHistory 676 $a951/.5056 700 $aGoldstein$b Melvyn C$0265243 701 $aJiao$b Ben$01039101 701 $aTanzen Lhundrup$01039102 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910456835103321 996 $aOn the Cultural Revolution in Tibet$92461101 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02202nam 2200625 450 001 9910826456603321 005 20230801231946.0 010 $a1-56368-528-0 035 $a(CKB)3170000000046066 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000581986 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11415557 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000581986 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10540782 035 $a(PQKB)10248095 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4860659 035 $a(OCoLC)851153616 035 $a(MdBmJHUP)muse14433 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL4860659 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr11385515 035 $a(EXLCZ)993170000000046066 100 $a20170606h20122012 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aAmerican Sign Language and early literacy $ea model parent-child program /$fKristin Snoddon 210 1$aWashington, District of Columbia :$cGallaudet University Press,$d2012. 210 4$d©2012 215 $a1 online resource (143 pages) 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 $a1-56368-527-2 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $aIntroduction -- ASL and early intervention -- Discourse and counterdiscourse -- Research as praxis -- ASL as resource -- A deaf cultural space -- Facilitating emergent ASL literacy -- Conclusion. 606 $aAmerican Sign Language 606 $aSign language acquisition 606 $aEarly childhood special education 606 $aSpecial education$xParent participation 606 $aDeaf children$xLanguage 606 $aChildren of deaf parents$xLanguage 615 0$aAmerican Sign Language. 615 0$aSign language acquisition. 615 0$aEarly childhood special education. 615 0$aSpecial education$xParent participation. 615 0$aDeaf children$xLanguage. 615 0$aChildren of deaf parents$xLanguage. 676 $a371.91/246 700 $aSnoddon$b Kristin$01657770 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910826456603321 996 $aAmerican Sign Language and early literacy$94011369 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04324nam 22006375 450 001 9910523801903321 005 20251229082550.0 010 $a9783030924423 010 $a3030924424 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-92442-3 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6838584 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6838584 035 $a(CKB)20275116900041 035 $a(BIP)082129477 035 $a(PPN)259385980 035 $a(Exl-AI)6838584 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-92442-3 035 $a(EXLCZ)9920275116900041 100 $a20211221d2022 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aInformatics in Control, Automation and Robotics $e17th International Conference, ICINCO 2020 Lieusaint - Paris, France, July 7?9, 2020, Revised Selected Papers /$fedited by Oleg Gusikhin, Kurosh Madani, Janan Zaytoon 205 $a1st ed. 2022. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Springer,$d2022. 215 $a1 online resource (647 pages) 225 1 $aLecture Notes in Electrical Engineering,$x1876-1119 ;$v793 311 08$aPrint version: Gusikhin, Oleg Informatics in Control, Automation and Robotics Cham : Springer International Publishing AG,c2021 9783030924416 327 $aPreface -- Organization -- Conference Co-chairs -- Program Chair -- Program Committee -- Additional Reviewers -- Invited Speakers -- Contents -- Mini-Sym 4.0. a Novel Simulation Tool to Calculate Real-time Production Line Productivity -- 1 Introduction -- 2 From the Micro-term to the Long-term -- 3 Characterization of Mini-term Deterioration in a Real Welding Station -- 3.1 Pathologies Analysed -- 3.2 Experimental Test -- 4 Welding Line, Modelling and Simulation -- 5 Welding Line Simulation -- 5.1 Definition of the Simulation Tool -- 5.2 Definition of the Simulation Tool -- 5.3 Calculation of Engineering Running Rate for Each Model -- 5.4 Calculation of Engineering Running Rate Based on Production -- 5.5 Discussion -- 6 Conclusions and Future Works -- References -- Constrained Reachability Problems for a Planar Manipulator -- 1 Introduction -- 2 A General Optimal Control Problem for Constrainded Reachability -- 3 Exact and Approximated Distance Formulas for Obstacles -- 3.1 Distance Formulas from the Ellipse -- 3.2 Distance Function from General Obstacles -- 4 Optimal Control of a Class of Hyper-redundant Manipulators$7Generated by AI. 330 $aThe book focuses the latest endeavours relating researches and developments conducted in fields of Control, Robotics and Automation.
