Svay provides a remarkably detailed picture of individual villagers and of Khmer social structure and kinship, agriculture, politics, and religion. The world Ebihara described would soon be shattered by Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge. Fifty percent of the villagers perished in the reign of terror, including those who had been Ebihara's adoptive parents and grandparents during her fieldwork. Never before published as a book, Ebihara's dissertation served as the foundation for much of our subsequent understanding of Cambodian history, society, and politics. 606 $aKhmers$zCambodia$zSvay Riaeeng 606 $aVillage communities$zCambodia$zSvay Riaeeng 607 $aSvay Riaeeng (Cambodia)$xSocial life and customs 607 $aSvay Riaeeng (Cambodia)$xHistory$y20th century 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aKhmers 615 0$aVillage communities 676 $a959.604 700 $aEbihara$b May$01046879 702 $aMertha$b Andrew$f1965- 702 $aLedgerwood$b Judy 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910467107403321 996 $aSvay$92474128 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02020nam 22005053 450 001 9910597133503321 005 20250513223026.0 010 $a3-428-57537-7 024 7 $a10.3790/978-3-428-57537-4 035 $a(CKB)4100000011990794 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6684094 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6684094 035 $a(OCoLC)1262371235 035 $a(NjHacI)994100000011990794 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011990794 100 $a20210901d2021 uy 0 101 0 $ager 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aProbleme der Wertlehre. $eZweiter Teil: Mündliche Aussprache über die Wertlehre im theoretischen Ausschuß des Vereins für Sozialpolitik, 30.
