This book analyses the impact of state restructuring on regional economic development in Indonesia between 1993 and 2010. Regional economic analysis shows persistent and severe regional disparities throughout the period. Particularly, econometrics study found that decentralization has accelerated regional disparities whilst the AFTA effect is insignificant on regional economic growth. Furthermore, historical institutionalism analysis on two cities - the manufacturing industry in Batam and the creative economy in Bandung - shows that past and embedded local institutions provide the capacity to adapt and create new development paths. The book suggests the importance of local-specific policies that embrace local knowledge and institutions to develop regional specialization and competitive advantage. This book fills the gap in Indonesian literature that lacks studies on the integrated impact of decentralization and trade liberalization, both economically and politically. 606 $aDecentralization in government$zIndonesia 606 $aConvergence (Economics)$zIndonesia 606 $aStructural adjustment (Economic policy)$zIndonesia 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aDecentralization in government 615 0$aConvergence (Economics) 615 0$aStructural adjustment (Economic policy) 676 $a320.809598 700 $aAritenang$b Adiwan Fahlan$01056473 702 $aAritenang$b Adiwan Fahlan, $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910466231203321 996 $aThe impact of state restructuring on Indonesia's regional economic convergence$92490862 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02491oam 2200649 450 001 9910711996903321 005 20190222150202.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002488118 035 $a(OCoLC)923358480 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002488118 100 $a20151009d2015 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 13$aAn inventory of alcohol related questions in the demographic and health surveys and an analysis of alcohol use and unsafe sex in Sub-Saharan Africa /$fLindsay Mallick, Shireen Assaf 210 1$aRockville, Maryland, USA :$cICF International,$d2015. 215 $a1 online resource (xii, 43 pages) $ccolor illustrations 225 1 $aDHS analytical studies ;$vno. 53 300 $a"September 2015." 300 $a"This publication was produced for review by the United States Agency for International Development"--Cover. 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references (pages 39-43). 606 $aDrinking of alcoholic beverages$zAfrica, Sub-Saharan$vStatistics 606 $aAlcoholism$zAfrica, Sub-Saharan$vStatistics 606 $aUnsafe sex$zAfrica, Sub-Saharan$vStatistics 606 $aSexual behavior surveys$zAfrica, Sub-Saharan$vStatistics 606 $aHealth surveys$zAfrica, Sub-Saharan$vStatistics 606 $aAlcoholism$2fast 606 $aDrinking of alcoholic beverages$2fast 606 $aHealth surveys$2fast 606 $aSexual behavior surveys$2fast 607 $aAfrica, Sub-Saharan$2fast 608 $aStatistics.$2lcgft 615 0$aDrinking of alcoholic beverages 615 0$aAlcoholism 615 0$aUnsafe sex 615 0$aSexual behavior surveys 615 0$aHealth surveys 615 7$aAlcoholism. 615 7$aDrinking of alcoholic beverages. 615 7$aHealth surveys. 615 7$aSexual behavior surveys. 700 $aMallick$b Lindsay$01398581 702 $aAssaf$b Shireen 712 02$aICF International (Firm), 712 02$aUnited States.$bAgency for International Development, 712 02$aMEASURE DHS (Program) 801 0$bDJB 801 1$bDJB 801 2$bOCLCF 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910711996903321 996 $aAn inventory of alcohol related questions in the demographic and health surveys and an analysis of alcohol use and unsafe sex in Sub-Saharan Africa$93520519 997 $aUNINA
