Particularly, the book describes polarization phenomena in nuclear scattering and reactions in detail, and explains how they provide information concerning spin-dependent interactions between the related particles. The concepts of polarization observables are explained, explicitly in the scattering of protons, deuterons and 7Li nuclei. In looking at deuteron and 7Li scattering, interactions induced by the virtual excitation of projectiles are examined in detail. Resonance reactions are investigated, focusing attention on the polarization of observables, which suggests that polarization phenomena can be used to determine the spin parity of the resonance. It is noted that in few-nucleon systems, the discrepancy between the values of polarization observables based on theoretical models and the corresponding values obtained through experimental data, is an important problem to be solved in the future. Solving this problem should provide new knowledge concerning the nuclear forces between nucleons. The author has chosen open-access publishing for this book to allow any interested person to study this branch of nuclear physics. 517 $aPolarization phenomena in nuclear reactions 517 $aPolarization Phenomena In Physics 610 $aSpin Physics 610 $aNuclear Structure 610 $aPolarization Phenomena 676 $a535.5/2 700 $aTanifuji$b Makoto$01076011 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910346695103321 996 $aPolarization Phenomena In Physics$92586044 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03201oas 2201105 a 450 001 9910131794203321 005 20251105213014.0 011 $a1939-828X 035 $a(DE-599)ZDB2015101-9 035 $a(OCoLC)51205117 035 $a(CONSER) 2002227231 035 $a(CKB)954925376883 035 $a(EXLCZ)99954925376883 100 $a20021211a18979999 sy a 101 0 $aeng 135 $auran||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aAmerican journal of archaeology $ethe journal of the Archaeological Institute of America 210 $aNew York $cMacmillan Co.$d1897- 210 3 $aChicago, IL $cUniversity of Chicago Press 215 $a1 online resource 300 $aRefereed/Peer-reviewed 300 $aTitle from PDF title page (JSTOR website, viewed Sept. 6, 2007). 300 $aVols. 1-3 include reports of the Institute, of the managing committees, of the schools of classical studies at Athens and Rome and separately paged bulletins containing matter supplementary to that of the reports; v. 4-12 include annual supplements containing annual reports of the Archaeological Institute of America and the American schools in Athens, Rome, and Palestine, 1899/1900-1907/08. 300 $aImprint varies. 311 0 $a(OCoLC)51205117 0002-9114 606 $aArchaeology$vPeriodicals 606 $aArt$vPeriodicals 606 $aArche?ologie$vPe?riodiques 606 $aArt$vPe?riodiques 606 $aArchaeology$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00812938 606 $aArt$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst00815177 608 $aPeriodical. 608 $aperiodicals.$2aat 608 $aPeriodicals.$2fast 608 $aPeriodicals.$2lcgft 608 $aPe?riodiques.$2rvmgf 615 0$aArchaeology 615 0$aArt 615 6$aArche?ologie 615 6$aArt 615 7$aArchaeology. 615 7$aArt. 676 $a930 712 02$aArchaeological Institute of America, 712 02$aAmerican School of Classical Studies at Athens, 712 02$aAmerican School of Classical Studies in Rome, 712 02$aAmerican School for Oriental Study and Research in Palestine, 712 02$aUniversity of Chicago.$bPress, 801 0$bEYM 801 1$bEYM 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bNSD 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bOCLCE 801 2$bZ5A 801 2$bHUA 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bDLC 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bCOO 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bOCLCF 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bDEBBG 801 2$bELW 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bOCLCA 801 2$bAUD 801 2$bVT2 801 2$bRCE 801 2$bU3W 801 2$bNJT 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bUBY 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bDLC 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bOCLCA 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bNBW 801 2$bSFB 801 2$bUAB 801 2$bEZC 801 2$bOCLCL 801 2$bOCLCQ 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a9910131794203321 996 $aAmerican journal of archaeology$9649756 997 $aUNINA
