Foundations for lexical semantics -- pt. 2. Critiquing and enhancing framenet -- pt. 3. Frame semantics and biblical Hebrew. 330 $aSince James Barr?s work in the 1960's, the challenge for Hebrew scholars has been to continue to apply the insights of linguistic semantics to the study of biblical Hebrew. This book begins by describing a range of approaches to semantic and grammatical analysis, including structural semantics, cognitive linguistics and cognitive metaphors, frame semantics, and William Croft?s Radical Construction Grammar. It then seeks to integrate these, formulating a dynamic approach to lexical semantic analysis based on conceptual frames, using corpus annotation. The model is applied to biblical Hebrew in a detailed study of a family of words related to ?exploring,? ?searching,? and ?seeking.? The results demonstrate the value and potential of cognitive, frame-based approaches to biblical Hebrew lexicology. 410 0$aBiblical Interpretation Series$v108. 606 $aHebrew language$xSemantics 606 $aHebrew language$xLexicology 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aHebrew language$xSemantics. 615 0$aHebrew language$xLexicology. 676 $a492.4/5 700 $aShead$b Stephen L$0976867 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910462187203321 996 $aRadical frame semantics and Biblical Hebrew$92225388 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03621nam 22007212 450 001 9910465015203321 005 20160427151154.0 010 $a1-139-89551-6 010 $a1-107-77740-2 010 $a1-107-77989-8 010 $a1-107-77892-1 010 $a1-107-78476-X 010 $a1-107-78510-3 010 $a1-107-78019-5 010 $a1-107-78464-6 010 $a1-107-78144-2 010 $a1-282-75972-8 010 $a9786612759727 010 $a1-906985-24-3 035 $a(CKB)3390000000012282 035 $a(EBL)1582567 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001119881 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11649820 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001119881 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11149124 035 $a(PQKB)10038644 035 $a(UkCbUP)CR9781107784765 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1582567 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4949874 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL1582567 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10842112 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL581055 035 $a(OCoLC)729020310 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL4949874 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL275972 035 $a(OCoLC)1024266731 035 $a(EXLCZ)993390000000012282 100 $a20131210d2010|||| uy| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aCaesarean birth $ethe work of Franc?ois Rousset in Renaissance France : a new treatise on hysterotomotokie or Caesarien childbirth /$ftranslated from the original French by Ronald M. On the fertility that remains after caesarean section. 330 $aFranc?ois Rousset's sixteenth-century treatise was the first known text to promote the idea of caesarean birth. In its time, Rousset's book was translated into German and Latin, but until publication of this book there was no known English translation. The original text was highly controversial four centuries ago, and caesarean section - especially the rising rate of caesarean births, with one-quarter to one-third of women now delivered using this procedure in some countries - continues to be a source of controversy in both the medical and lay text. It therefore seems appropriate to revisit the origins of the ongoing debate. In addition to the translation, the book contains an introduction by the translator and a commentary by the editor, as well as reproductions of contemporary woodcuts and illustrations. Also included are appendices providing a brief summary of 16th century French history, and an insight into Rousset's patron and most notable patients. 606 $aCesarean section 615 0$aCesarean section. 676 $a618.860944 700 $aRousset$b Franc?ois$f1535?-1590?,$0947291 702 $aCyr$b Ronald M. 702 $aBaskett$b Thomas F. 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910465015203321 996 $aCaesarean birth$92492380 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01814nam 2200421 450 001 9910701329103321 005 20141107111631.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002417779 035 $a(OCoLC)894683134 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002417779 100 $a20141107d2011 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurmn||||||||| 181 $2rdacontent 182 $2rdamedia 183 $2rdacarrier 200 10$aMSHA must more consistently determine the number of required inspections and more transparently report inspection results for metal and nonmetal mines /$fU.S. Department of Labor, Office of Inspector General, Office of Audit, Mine Safety and Health Administration 210 1$a[Washington, D.C.] :$cU.S. Department of Labor, Office of Inspector General, Office of Audit, Mine Safety and Health Administration,$d2011. 215 $a1 online resource (4 unnumbered pages, 32 pages) 300 $aTitle from title screen (viewed Nov. 7, 2014). 300 $a"September 29, 2011." 300 $a"Report number: 05-11-004-06-001." 517 1 $aMNM safety and health inspections 606 $aMine inspection$zUnited States$xEvaluation 606 $aMine safety$zUnited States$xEvaluation 606 $aCompliance auditing$zUnited States 606 $aAuditors' reports$zUnited States 615 0$aMine inspection$xEvaluation. 615 0$aMine safety$xEvaluation. 615 0$aCompliance auditing 615 0$aAuditors' reports 712 02$aUnited States.$bMine Safety and Health Administration. 801 0$bGPO 801 1$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910701329103321 996 $aMSHA must more consistently determine the number of required inspections and more transparently report inspection results for metal and nonmetal mines$93093345 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01835nam 2200457 450 001 9910826613503321 005 20220530071547.0 010 $a84-17047-87-5 035 $a(CKB)5590000000436158 035 $a(OCoLC)1245505502 035 $a(NyNyDIG)DIGEDRM0003 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6809180 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6809180 035 $a(OCoLC)1286431636 035 $a(EXLCZ)995590000000436158 100 $a20220530d2019 uy 0 101 0 $aspa 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 13$aEl llano en llamas /$fJuan Rulfo 205 $aPrimera edicio?n. 210 1$aBarcelona :$cEditorial RM :$cFundacio?n Juan Rulfo,$d[2019] 210 4$d©2019 215 $a1 online resource 311 $a84-934426-1-5 327 $aNos han dado la tierra -- La cuesta de las comadres -- Es que somos muy pobres -- El hombre -- En la madrugada -- Talpa -- Macario -- El llano en llamas -- ¡Diles que no me maten! -- Luvina -- La noche que lo dejaron solo -- Paso del norte -- Acuérdate -- No oyes ladrar los perros -- El día del derrumbe -- La herencia de matilde arcángel -- Anacleto morones. 330 $aEl llano en llamas (translated into English as "The Burning Plain and Other Stories", "The Plain in Flames", and "El Llano in flames") is a collection of short stories written in Spanish by Mexican author Juan Rulfo and first published in 1953 410 0$aColeccio?n Literatura siglo XX ;$v2. 606 $aShort stories, Mexican 615 0$aShort stories, Mexican. 676 $a863.0108972 700 $aRulfo$b Juan$0164536 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910826613503321 996 $aLlano en llamas$994277 997 $aUNINA
