Nationality and the Zàng Nationality (in Mùl?, Sichuan) in southwest China. Prinmi belongs to the Qiangic branch and is closely related to the extinct language of Tangut. Picus Ding examines in the grammar the phonology (both segmental and suprasegmental), morphology, syntax and information structure of Prinmi, with two sample texts and an English-Prinmi glossary provided in appendices. Some noteworthy features of Prinmi include a wealth of clitics (appearing as proclitic, enclitic, mesoclitic or endoclitic), a lexical tone system akin to Japanese, and a collection of existential verbs that discriminates concreteness, animacy, and location. 410 0$aLanguages of the greater Himalayan region. 410 0$aBrill's Tibetan studies library ;$vVolume 5/14. 606 $aChinese language$xDialects$xGrammar 606 $aChinese language$xDialects$zChina$zYunnan 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aChinese language$xDialects$xGrammar. 615 0$aChinese language$xDialects 676 $a495.17 700 $aDing$b Picus Sizhi$0931434 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910464773003321 996 $aA Grammar of Prinmi$92095233 997 $aUNINA
