This monograph examines the militaries of Nigeria, Argentina, Egypt and India in times of crisis to challenge these assumptions. The book shows that despite having broad similarities, each of these states had unique characteristics that impacted their military effectiveness in different ways. These key variables included the military institutions? maturity and skill sets, the availability and management of human and material resources, and the quality of both civil and military leadership. 410 0$aHistory of Warfare$v88. 606 $aArmed Forces$xHistory$y20th century 606 $aCommand of troops$vCase studies 606 $aMilitary art and science$xHistory$y20th century 606 $aMilitary readiness$vCase studies 606 $aPostcolonialism$vCase studies 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aArmed Forces$xHistory 615 0$aCommand of troops 615 0$aMilitary art and science$xHistory 615 0$aMilitary readiness 615 0$aPostcolonialism 676 $a355/.0332 700 $aBarua$b Pradeep$0897910 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910463145203321 996 $aThe military effectiveness of post-colonial states$92006084 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01896nam 2200433 450 001 996280651403316 005 20231206190657.0 010 $a0-7381-2634-9 010 $a0-7381-2993-3 035 $a(CKB)3780000000089363 035 $a(NjHacI)993780000000089363 035 $a(EXLCZ)993780000000089363 100 $a20231206d1987 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aIEEE Guide for the Application of Neutral Grounding in Electrical Utility Systems$hPart 1, $iIntroduction /$fIEEE 210 1$aNew York :$cIEEE,$d1987. 215 $a1 online resource (24 pages) $cillustrations 225 1 $aIEEE ;$vC62.92.1-1987 311 $a0-7381-2633-0 330 $aThis guide is the introduction to the C62.92 series of five IEEE guides on neutral grounding in three-phase electrical utility systems.It provides system grounding definitions and considerations that are general to all types of electrical utility systems. 410 0$aIEEE Std ;$vC62.92.1-1987. 517 $aC62.92.1-2000 - IEEE Guide for the Application of Neutral Grounding in Electrical Utility Systems - Part 1 517 $aIEEE Guide for the Application of Neutral Grounding in Electrical Utility Systems - Part 1 517 $aIEEE C62.92.1-1987: IEEE Guide for the Application of Neutral Grounding in Electrical Utility Systems 606 $aElectric currents$xGrounding$xStandards 606 $aElectric power systems$xGrounding 615 0$aElectric currents$xGrounding$xStandards. 615 0$aElectric power systems$xGrounding. 676 $a621.381044 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aDOCUMENT 912 $a996280651403316 996 $aIEEE guide for the application of neutral grounding in electrical utility systems$92576171 997 $aUNISA
