Oliver Glanz for the first time provides a systematic study of the phenomenon of participant-reference shifts. The study is restricted to the book of Jeremiah and reflects upon the methodological conditions that should guide the analysis of participant-reference shifts. Focusing on computer assisted pattern recognition the research suggests that Jeremiah's participant-reference shifts should not be understood from a diachronic perspective. Understanding the origin and function of participant-reference shifts rather from the perspective of syntax, text grammar and rhetorics proves to be more consistent with the textual evidence. With this insight participant-reference shifts no longer have to distort textual coherence. 410 0$aStudia Semitica Neerlandica ;$v60. 608 $aElectronic books. 676 $a224/.206 700 $aGlanz$b Oliver$0926080 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910463029703321 996 $aUnderstanding participant-reference shifts in the book of Jeremiah$92079187 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02551nam 2200553Ia 450 001 9910783780603321 005 20230223210346.0 010 $a0-309-18063-5 010 $a1-280-44726-5 010 $a9786610447268 010 $a0-309-65274-X 035 $a(CKB)1000000000245174 035 $a(EBL)3378068 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000176064 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11170123 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000176064 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10204272 035 $a(PQKB)11625839 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3378068 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3378068 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10120236 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL44726 035 $a(OCoLC)66296290 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000245174 100 $a20060411d2006 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 00$aIdentification of promising naval aviation science and technology opportunities /$fCommittee on Identification of Promising Naval Aviation Science and Technology Opportunties ; Naval Studies Board ; Division on Engineering and Physical Sciences ; National Research Council of the National Academies 210 1$aWashington, D.C. :$cNational Academies Press,$d2006. 215 $a1 online resource (xiv, 98 pages) $cillustrations 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 0 $a0-309-09729-0 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 327 $aFront Matter; Preface; Acknowledgment of Reviewers; Contents; Executive Summary; 1 Introduction; 2 Strategic and Technology Planning and Disruptive Capabilities for Naval Aviation; 3 Science and Technology for the Disruptive Capabilities; 4 Science and Technology Planning for Naval Aviation; Appendixes; A Terms of Reference; B Committee Meeting Agendas; C Committee and Staff Biographies; D Allocation of Funding in the Naval Aviation Program at the Office of Naval Research; E Acronyms and Abbreviations 606 $aNaval art and science$zUnited States 615 0$aNaval art and science 676 $a359.9 712 02$aNational Research Council (U.S.).$bCommittee on Identification of Promising Naval Aviation Science and Technology Opportunities. 712 02$aNational Academies Press (U.S.) 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910783780603321 996 $aIdentification of promising naval aviation science and technology opportunities$93695133 997 $aUNINA
