Particular attention is paid to the discussion of Jung's "transcendent function" and what this offers women in the process of individualisation. Attention is also given to the revisionist work of James Hillman and to relevant issues found within post-Lacanian critique, principally in the works of Julia Kristeva, Luce Irigaray and Helene Cixous. The chapters deal with a range of issues and aim to promote further discussion. One theme discussed in the book is the way in which feminine language is formed within a masculine domain and how it can and is changing. Works of literature, notably those of Charlotte Bronte and The Tempest, are explored and examined in conjunction with Jungian themes. The feminine in relation to the maternal, and in its lack of relation to the divine, are two other engaging topics discussed in this volume. This collection involves the reader in a welcome debate on the role of the feminine in the Jungian world. 606 $aCreativeness 606 $aFeminism 606 $aFeminist psychology 606 $aJungian Theory 606 $aWomen -- Identity 606 $aWomen -- psychology 606 $aHumanism 606 $aPsychoanalytic Theory 606 $aPersons 606 $aEthics 606 $aPsychological Theory 606 $aPsychological Phenomena 606 $aHumanities 606 $aPhilosophy 606 $aJungian Theory 606 $aWomen 606 $aFeminism 608 $aElectronic books. 615 4$aCreativeness. 615 4$aFeminism. 615 4$aFeminist psychology. 615 4$aJungian Theory. 615 4$aWomen -- Identity. 615 4$aWomen -- psychology. 615 2$aHumanism 615 2$aPsychoanalytic Theory 615 2$aPersons 615 2$aEthics 615 2$aPsychological Theory 615 2$aPsychological Phenomena 615 2$aHumanities 615 2$aPhilosophy 615 2$aJungian Theory 615 2$aWomen 615 2$aFeminism 676 $a150 676 $a155.333 676 $a300 700 $aAdams$b Tessa$0965134 801 0$bFlBoTFG 801 1$bFlBoTFG 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910461697303321 996 $aThe Feminine Case$92189597 997 $aUNINA
