In Iran, the city of Shiraz was the principal center of philosophy at this time, and it was here that Najm al-D?n Ma?m?d al-Nayr?z? (d. after 933/1526), whose life and works are the subject of this book, spent his formative years. An accomplished Sh??? scholars, Nayr?z? engaged with Avicennan as well as Suhrawardian philosophy in his works. Beside Nayr?z?, the present study introduces his contemporaries among the philosophers of Shiraz and provides an outline of the main challenges of their thought, particularly of the two leading figures, Jal?l al-D?n al-Daw?n? (d. 908/1502) and ?adr al-D?n al-Dashtak?. 410 0$aIslamic philosophy, theology, and science ;$vv. 82. 606 $aIslamic philosophy$zIran$xHistory 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aIslamic philosophy$xHistory. 676 $a181/.5 700 $aPourjavady$b Reza$0905207 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910461591803321 996 $aPhilosophy in early Safavid Iran$92024504 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02779oam 2200637 450 001 9910716610303321 005 20210914132701.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002524067 035 $a(OCoLC)680248513$z(OCoLC)622216356$z(OCoLC)667947524$z(OCoLC)984765513$z(OCoLC)1138692998 035 $a(OCoLC)995470000002524067 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002524067 100 $a20101110d1997 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurbn||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aNatural attenuation of chlorinated volatile organic compounds in a freshwater tidal wetland, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland /$fby Michelle M.
