Gemeinsam mit ihren Studierenden erschloss sie neue Zugänge zu gesellschaftsrelevanten Themen und wurde zur ersten Unterrichtenden für künstlerische Fotografie in Wien. Poesie und engagierte Literatur bilden Konstanten in ihrem bildnerischen Schaffen in Form von skripturaler Abstraktion und massiven Textüberlagerungen in ihren Gemälden bis hin zum Verlust der Zeichenhaftigkeit.In den letzten Jahren übergab Eva Choung-Fux ihr Hauptwerk der Kulturabteilung der Stadt Wien - MUSA.
