It provides a systematic description of Freuds observations on child dreaming and presents the results obtained from four empirical studies on childrens dreams that the author conducted during the span of a decade. These studies (two conducted in school settings, one in a home setting, and one based on a questionnaire completed by parents) allow an empirical judgment on Freuds main hypotheses on child dreaming: the hypotheses on formal aspect of childrens dreams, the relationship between dream bizarreness and development of the superego functions, and the issue of wish-fulfilment dreams. The author concludes that it is possible to test empirically Freuds hypothesis on the early forms of dreaming and that this test is not irrelevant for an empirical judgment of certain more general statements of Freuds dream theory (e.g. the dream censorship hypothesis) 606 $aChildren's dreams 606 $aDream interpretation 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aChildren's dreams. 615 0$aDream interpretation. 676 $a154.63083 700 $aColace$b Claudio$0849571 801 0$bFlBoTFG 801 1$bFlBoTFG 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910459534903321 996 $aChildren's dreams$91897139 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01712oam 2200397 450 001 9910704191103321 005 20160414144436.0 035 $a(CKB)5470000002437750 035 $a(OCoLC)929707183 035 $a(EXLCZ)995470000002437750 100 $a20151117d2015 ua 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurbn||||a|||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aStrategic Petroleum Reserve discussion draft and Title IV energy efficiency $ehearing before the Subcommittee on Energy and Power of the Committee on Energy and Commerce, House of Representatives, One Hundred Fourteenth Congress, first session, April 30, 2015 210 1$aWashington :$cU.S. Government Publishing Office,$d2015. 215 $a1 online resource (vi, 191 pages) $cillustrations 300 $aTitle from title screen (viewed on Nov. 17, 2015). 300 $aPaper version available for sale by the Superintendent of Documents, U.S. Government Publishing Office. 300 $a"Serial No. 114-36." 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 517 $aStrategic Petroleum Reserve discussion draft and Title IV energy efficiency 606 $aPetroleum reserves$xLaw and legislation$zUnited States 606 $aEnergy conservation$xLaw and legislation$zUnited States 608 $aLegislative hearings.$2lcgft 615 0$aPetroleum reserves$xLaw and legislation 615 0$aEnergy conservation$xLaw and legislation 801 0$bGPO 801 1$bGPO 801 2$bGPO 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910704191103321 996 $aStrategic Petroleum Reserve discussion draft and Title IV energy efficiency$93508238 997 $aUNINA
